Class as well as capabilities are all correctly selected, there is just no flow card for changing hue/color/temperature available… But it is working perfectly fine now with \< group \> 🙂 Thank you anyways! ---

That is very odd indeed. Thank you for sharing the screenshots… Not sure why I only have on/off/toggle/dim… And before you ask, yes I have double checked class and capabilities, actually tried several different capability combination. All to no avail. But it is not an issue anymore, since I came across the \< groups \> app 🙂 ---

Is it possible to add a virtual device, with a free text value or perhaps change the device name, based on the value of a text Variable? I have a HomeyScript that retrieves the status from my Bosch Indego Connect robot mower, and I then set a text variable. So the value can be: - Docked - Border cut - Mowing - Charing - Idle in lawn - Spot Mowe - Mow without dock I want to show this in a nice way in a device on Homeydash ---

Hi all, I feel quite stupid asking this, but I have been reading and playing around with no luck. Ok, so the thing is that I’m trying to set a thermostat for both heating and cooling, so that it would have not only a target temperature but a target range, let’s say [20,27]. Then in auto whenever it goes below or above it would control either the heating or the cooler, so it would be useful all year round. Any ideas how to make it something like this? If I read the beginning op the post @Arie_Laxed likes to have this app developed by some other talent. Is there already someone on it for the 2023 version? This is for me a basic used app because of the without no trigger option that the experiment homey option not have for toggle switches/ modes. I see a lot of app transfers to @Arie_J_Godschalk for example? ---

Like @Arie_Laxed says in this Main Topic Post: The VD sourceode is ‘outdated’ and perhaps the VD app should be refreshed. He advices to create several, more specific Apps. But that has already been done: The [Advanced Virtual Devices](https://community.homey.app/t/app-pro-advanced-virtual-device-device-capabilities-app-with-unique-text-status-indicator/68198) from the [Device Capabilities App](https://homey.app/a/nl.qluster-it.DeviceCapabilities/) is a fully customisable virtual device, which you can complete configure yourself. While the VD app is, in it’s core, more focused on Default “Athom” capabilities and extending those features. That means that some users with VDs might be better surved with AVDs and vice versa. And since the AVD (DC App) has the functionalities of the [Share Your Device! - Advanced Virtual Devices from Device Capabilities - Apps](https://community.homey.app/t/share-your-device-advanced-virtual-devices-from-device-capabilities/68676) (SYD) and the [The Flow Exchange(r) - Exchange Your Flows with Others!](https://community.homey.app/t/the-flow-exchange-r-exchange-your-flows-with-others/68981) (TFE), there might be some excellent ways the apps can work together, synchronise and/or migrate between them. Well this is just a start, currently i am starting of with setting up the develop environment, sourcecontrol, stuff like that. Then i’ll work on SDK3. ---

Yes, but I use only some light switches for on/off, that’s all. And I’m in the process of creating these devices with ADC to reduce the number of apps I have. ---
