# \[APP\]\[Pro\] Velux

I’m running a daily flow which restarts the Velux app in Homey just before some regular automations run. This solves most of my problems but sometimes it still doesn’t work. I can’t figure out what the actual problem is though, only that a restart of the app solves it.

Any news on this? I have the same setup, and even when the window is 100% open, I cannot close it to 50%, I can only fully close it via Homey.

EDIT: As Peter mentioned in #1, and as I see it (september 2026) we still need Velux to open op for the ability to open the windows via Homey.  
Blinds works perfectly both ways.
