Finally got the UniFi Gate Hub and working with my garage door (I use manually) for gate closing action, simply said; once the two wires connect it will trigger to open, close or stop. Good evening everyone, I decided to install Access because of this app and the existing unify system. Now I have installed the G3 Reader pro and the Mini door hub. I can easily get this integrated into the homey system, but I have the problem, so I can then trigger flows manually, e.g. However, I still have the problem that if the unified access app, for example, clicks on unlock in the Access App in Unifi, the Homey app, this is not registered. Does anyone have any experience with this? I didn’t have any direct wiring installed on the mini hub because I don’t need it because a Switchbot Ultra is controlled directly via flow. So there seems to be a lack of feedback from Unifi Access App to Homey Access App with the status of the unlocking. The relay on the Hub Mini switches. If necessary, you could attach a Shelly here, but that’s not the idea of the Homey Access app 😉 Thank you for your help. ---

**Hi @Peter\_\_Jensen1,** That still doesn’t solve my problem. I’ve reinstalled the app and set everything up from scratch. The hub integrates correctly, and the doorbell works. But when I tap “Unlock” in the Access app, there’s still no response in the Unifi Access Homey app – it doesn’t receive any feedback. I’ve set the polling interval to 5 seconds, and in the Unifi app, the doors stay open for 1 minute. Thanks for your help! ---

I have the same problem as KeHo. No information of locking/unlocking if done in UniFi Access, but unlocking/locking with Homey works. Did you find the problem? Can also send logs, if you want. ---

Hello @Peter_Jensen1 , First of all, thank you very much for your work on this app! I do have one issue: I have 2 Hubs (1 UA Hub and 1 UA Gate Hub) respectively for the street portal and the garage door. I added both as favorite on the Homey app, so they show up on my main screen on iOS or homepage. However, when I simply « press » on the favorited device, nothing happens. I would expect the app to trigger a lock/unlock event, but it does not. Instead, I need to long press (iOS) to get to the device, and then press Unlock. Even more confounding, once the door is open and if I want to close it, I have to follow the same steps (long press to get to the device page) but then when I press on Lock, nothing happens. I need to first press on Lock. Then on Unlock (!?) to trigger the lock sequence/dry contacts. Is this a known issue? The button directly in the Unifi Access iOS works perfectly, a single tap locks or unlocks (triggers the dry contact) as expected no matter the current state of the door. Note: The issue/behavior is the same on both devices/hubs with different keypads/intercoms connected. ---

Hi Shuguet I see what you mean, but I don’t experience the same issue. I use flows as the trigger in both iOS and the Homey app, and one-tap works correctly here. I’ll add it to my list to look into — not sure there’s much I can do from the app side, but I’ll check. Best, Peter ---

Hi @Peter_Jensen1 I am trying to use your app open a bold lock when my G6 entry, connected to hub mini, detects a face “face unlock’ however it’s seems like the app doesn’t register the state of the hub mini, is this correct or am I the wrong ? My flow; If door is onlocked, then activate bold lock the trigger if the door is unlocked is not to come by activating by the your homey app by by means of the “real” unlock / lock status of the hub mini. Hope you can help ---

Hi, thanks for reaching out! You’re right that the app doesn’t instantly reflect the lock state when the door is unlocked externally. The app uses polling to check the lock status from the UniFi Access controller, because Ubiquiti unfortunately doesn’t provide a push/notification API that would allow us to get instant state updates. By default the app checks every 60 seconds, so there can be a delay before Homey sees that the door was unlocked. You can reduce this delay by lowering the polling interval in the app settings. Try setting it to something like 10-15 seconds. That should make it responsive enough for your flow to work reliably. Hope that helps! ---

Ok Clear, Than I’ll add a Shelly pul I4 DC to the contacts of the doorhub mini, in that case I can use the realtime signal form Shelly, extra bit of hardware but does then job ---

Is there some instructions on how to get this app configured? Looking at the settings screen I need to provide an IP address - of what? My Dreammachine or the Gate Hub? Where do I define the username and password? In my Dreammachine user management area theres no usernames - only an email address for a user. Is there a different place to be creating the required user account? Cheers for releasing the app @Peter_Jensen1 - it was nice to find it existed! ---

I can’t get my UA G3 Flex access reader not working with Homey. Flow I want to make is when someone unlock the Unfit mini HUB via the G3 Flex reader my lights in my garden turns on for 2 minutes.
