Enable seamless door access with your smart devices—unlock doors with a simple button press or automatically when you arrive home. This app uses the unofficial API and requires you to create a local user on your Unifi console. Please input your information in the configuration. For the best experience, doors should remain locked by default and only open upon request. The app respects your normal settings, with the limitation that the app does not handle second but only full minutes. Note that doors can’t be re-locked during the standard opening period, but the app will keep you informed. **Current release:** > **[Ubiquiti UniFi Access](https://homey.app/da-dk/app/com.ubiquiti.access/Ubiquiti-UniFi-Access/)** > > Seamlessly manage door access and security, and let the doors open for you. **Important Information About Hold Time:** 1. Unlocking occurs in 1-minute intervals. Even if your system is configured for a 10-second unlock time, using the app will round up to a full minute. For example, a 10-second system setting results in the door being unlocked for 1 minute when triggered via the app. 2. During unlocking, re-locking is restricted for the duration of the system’s unlock time. For instance, if your system is set to a 10-second unlock, attempts to re-lock within the first 10 seconds will trigger a warning and fail. After this period, re-locking will function as normal. **Known bugs** - ~~Doors are looking after 1 minute, even if the flow card limit is set higher~~ (fixed) ---

Is it possible to get support for Unifi access Hub gate also? It has gate and sidedoor outputs It is possible to add the device but it only shows the gate. ---

Hi @Peter_Johansson, I would like to support the gate as well, but I currently don’t own a UniFi Access Hub, and the available online specifications are limited. To proceed, I’d need access to a device to explore the functionality further. If possible, we could arrange a short screen-sharing session where I can observe the various states. Hi @Peter_Jensen1 Big - big thanks for this app, it was a pleasure to see it has arrived at the app store! Just one device integrstion I miss, is the ability to get informed if someone is ringing in, or somebody used a proximity card to enter and other doorbell functions. Hi Fac3 The doorbell function is not straightforward, as the homey app relies on polling the status of devices. The lag will be too significant for live events. Any ideas on solutions are, of course, welcome. ---

Dear @Peter_Jensen1 I’ve just installed your app, since then I have an issue. This Door Hub is installed at a gate (for cars), since then gate locks itself immediately after open, no time to get through the gate. Before the homey integration I could open the gate, then close when it was needed. (Sometimes, I have to keep open the gate for unknown period) The weird thing is, that if I disable the Homey integration, the gate behaves the same way, and I can not find any “auto close” setting to disable in the Access user interface. Is there any possibility to disable auto lock feature? ---

I see. A webhook event as it is available in the Protect could be the solution, but it is not an option for now. Am I right? ---

However, I see the alarm management (including webhooks) in Protect is being developed quite a bit. Hopefully Ubiquity get to Access at some point. To register they Chime event myself I have set a Shelly Plus Uni on my Access Hub and let that tell me when somebody is at the door. Best, Peter ---

As a work around to leave the door unlocked you can make a flow and input a really high amount of hours. Best Peter ---

This issue was caused by the gate electronics because not perfectly aligned gate wings, happened in high wind. It closed itself, was not related to Access. Sorry… ---

Hi Michael It should work, but the app polls the information every 60 seconds, meaning that if you have short open or lock times, the app may never detect the change. I have just released a version in test that lets you poll more frequently in the configuration (try setting it to eg 10 seconds).
