Finally I did everithing correct and connect to HP2023 two devices trough the Tuya Cloud. I can’t connect only AVATTO valve thermostat, which require own hub. So I mostly satisfied with app and apriciated for support.

Did you manage to connect with the Tuya Homey app as well?
I’m getting 1106 error.

Are you sure you checked all of these items?

If I remember correctly in my case: on the Tuya app itself I was able to login either using my phone number or my E-mail address and on the Homey Tuya Cloud app I was only able to login using my E-mail address. Something like that.
Tried to reconnect, but that’s impossible. The only way would be to delete everything and reconnect. Just checked and I can still add a new device that is already connected to my Tuya cloud. However, that is while using the existing connection.

My account is linked and my added smart socket in the Tuya app shows up in my cloud project. Checked password, username and country.

Hello Hans,

These are the Tuya app credentials? (NOT the developer portal login)?

Is your country entered as, like,
31
Nothing less, nothing more?
Is it the same country code as you entered @ mobile Tuya app?

What datacenter did you select? Central Europe?

Hey Peter -

For simplicity I have the same login-credentials for the cloud (dev.platform) and the Tuya app, which I also enter in the Homey Tuya app.
I have tried 0047, +47 and 47 as country code on the Homey Tuya app.
Lastly I have connected to the Central European center.

Thanks.

Wow - I managed to connect.

I switch from Smart Life to Tuya in the Homey Tuya app.
I tried it earlier but not with only 47 as country code.

Thanks for helping.

Great to see that it works. And nice that you share the results!

After reading that some people did managed to get Tuya Cloud working i tried again. And it worked. So my house is now for 98% operational again. Still going over to zigbee though.

That’s good to read! Did you figure out what went wrong the first time? This is good to share and perhaps have added to the first post.
Even with all the instructions this is hard enough to configure!

I really have no idea what went wrong. I just read about the fact that people where succesful with the app. then i restarded the app and it worked. so i think the door at Tuya was put open again.

Which could be the case. They have released a new app themselves as well somewhere in the past few days Tuya 6.0 or something like that.

yeah i noticed that whilst is was removing my tuya sockets i wont be using any more as i am going over to zigbee

well i still get the same freaking message code 1106 so its still closed for me

**update ** code 1106 is gone now. so i have save the data in the homey app config page. No more error.
Now when i try to add an existing sensor i get a new screen where i have to put in my email and then shift the slider to confirm. Then i get the message “the account password does not match”???
I only have one password for tuya???

update another update code 1106 is back. what a bummer again. Done for tonight.

Im wondering if there is any news on this matter from the Homey Team …
By now we as customer should get an answer like: This will be fixed, or stop hoping.

This thread is regarding the community app. If you want an update on the talks between Athom and Tuya, you should check the thread of the official app (that cannot be installed at the moment): [APP][CLOUD] Official Tuya App for Homey - Apps - Homey Community Forum

I think you have sort of two Tuya accounts: one for the app and another for the developer platform.

I’m trying to get the TUYA cloud app working on my new homey pro.
I followed all the steps. I got my secret acces ID. But when I fill in everything in homey I get the following message: Official api acces ID, for more information: is mandatory (is verplicht).

Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong??

Thanx

You have selected the Smart Life app. Have you tried selecting the Tuya app there?
