Thanks for the app, @Jamison_Bennett! I tried it out with my switches at home _(SG1016DE, SG105E, and SG108E)_, but they don’t seem to be connecting yet. I keep getting the message: _“Connection Error: Unable to connect to the managed switch.”_
I’ve also generated a diagnostic report: `257d1d0d-5a4d-42f8-bb29-112a0fe67a85`
Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Thanks for asking on this. I suspect this may be a result of the hardware and/or firmware version on the switches.
I don’t know this for sure but after reviewing the release notes I suspect that the following following hardware and firmware minimum versions would be needed (you can upgrade firmware easily at [Download for TL-SG105E | TP-Link](https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/tl-sg105e/v5/#Firmware)):

I added the list of supported switches to this error message in v0.1.3. This failure is most likely the result of an earlier hardware/firmware version. Unfortunately until the login is able to authenticate, I don’t have a way to obtain the firmware/hardware version numbers. I don’t have a copy of all of the switches so I don’t have a way to add support for them.

I have a **TP-Link TL-SG105PE** with the following configuration:
- Firmware Version: **1.0.0 Build 20220414 Rel.52733**
- Hardware Version: **TL-SG105PE 2.0**
Is it possible to help you to add it to the compatibility list?

Unfortunately, I do not have the power over ethernet hardware. So it would be a little bit difficult for me to integrate it. Of course, the project is open source so contributions are welcome.

Hi @Jamison_Bennett, I’ve just created a [PR](https://github.com/jamisonbennett/homey-tp-link-managed-switch/pull/6) that adds support for _(what I believe are)_ all older hardware revisions. In addition, I’ve included a couple of quality-of-life improvements, including:
- An `alarm_port_disconnected` sensor capability per port that indicates whether a port is connected or disconnected
- Device information such as hardware/software versions, IP address, and MAC address in the device settings
- Custom device icons based on the number of ports
- Flow cards with autocomplete support
- Reworked pair and repair flows that show clear error/warning pop-ups instead of interrupting the flow
