# \[APP\]\[Pro\]\[TEST\] Hikvision SDK v3

I don’t know if the app is open source; at least, I didn’t find a link to GitHub or similar platforms in the App Store or in the corresponding app thread.

Here’s what the first post in the corresponding app thread looks like now:

And the app developer hasn’t been online on the forum for 6 years:

And there are 5 more Homey apps from this app developer, none of which are compatible with newer Homey models:

If this happens, all users of the old app will have to set up their devices again and update their flows. This has already led to disappointment among Homey users with the _ **Shelly** _ and _ **Shelly Control** _ app. It might be worth considering a way to migrate from the old app to the new one without too much hassle.

But that’s just some extra information, you don’t have to worry about it, at least not while you’re on holiday. Wish you a pleasant and relaxing holiday.
