# [APP][Pro] Swiss Dynamic Electricity Tariff – 15-minute prices for Innostrom/Swisspower tariffs (AEW Classic Dynamic & more)
Swiss Dynamic Electricity Tariff pulls your dynamic electricity tariff’s 15-minute prices straight into Homey, so you can run your big consumers (heat pump, EV, battery) automatically when power is cheapest.

## What is this?
Several Swiss grid operators (e.g. AEW with “Classic Dynamic”, from 1 Jan 2027) offer dynamic tariffs via Swisspower’s Innostrom platform: the price changes every 15 minutes instead of once a year. This app fetches those prices automatically and makes them usable in Homey — for display, analysis, and above all for Flows.
## What can it do?
- Automatic fetching of quarter-hourly prices (today + tomorrow, once available)
- Current price, next price, today’s min/max/average, rank of the current slot
- Price level (very cheap / cheap / normal / expensive / very expensive) as its own capability
- Manual refresh button + timestamp of the last update
- Dashboard widget with today’s price curve
- App settings page with live values and configuration recommendations
- Persistence: prices survive an app restart
### Flow cards
#### When
- Price level changes
- No prices available for tomorrow (warning)
#### And
- Current price is below X
- Current slot is among the N cheapest of the day
- Current slot falls within the cheapest contiguous block of length N (e.g. “cheapest 2 hours in a row”)
- Price level is X
#### Then
- Find the cheapest block of length N in a time window (returns start/end as tokens for further Flow steps)
- Manually refresh prices
## Setup
You’ll need your metering point number (EAN) and your grid operator’s API token. The token is stored locally on your Homey only and is never logged.
## About this app
As the energy provider AEW will introduce dynamic pricing next year, I developed this app in preparation with support from Claude.

Looking for testers: already-live dynamic electricity tariff connection (Switzerland)
I’m specifically looking for testers who \*\*already have\*\* a dynamic electricity tariff from a Swiss grid operator running in production today (not just AEW Classic Dynamic starting 2027) — e.g. via another Innostrom/Swisspower connection or a comparable 15-minute tariff.
Why: the API’s test environment only returns constant dummy prices. To validate the app against real, fluctuating data (price spikes, empty “tomorrow” data, rounding edge cases, DST transitions), I need feedback from someone with real access.
What I need:
- Your grid operator offers a 15-minute tariff via Innostrom/Swisspower, and you already have a metering point number + API token
- Willingness to install the test version and give quick feedback (are prices correct? do the Flow cards behave as expected? any errors in the logs?)

- A direct line to me for tweaks before this goes live for everyone
