I’ve the same problem.
I’m now on 5.0.0 (stable) and 1.4.0 of the splines app.

My spline has a Max of 0,75 and now my dim level is at 1. Today is the first I noticed this problem.

Maybe this helps with understanding.

Thanks for this, I’ve added a few more nodes to “smooth” it.

How many nodes would be needed to smooth things out? I’ve added a few more to try and have a peak but it still overshoots by about 33%. I’m using the test version and my Homey Pro is on v5.
All said though there is still no other app that can do this

As you can (hopefully) see on the screenshot I set additional nodes before or after a change. The maximum deviation between nodes 10/10.5 and 15.5/16 is +0.02.

Please note that there is a conflict between athom and the developer of this application as athom actively demands implementation of features they want to have and otherwise wont publish the app in their store. as this software was developed in no relation to athom and as the developer isn’t a paid contractor or in a similar relation to athom this cannot be accepted. the developement and the support of this application is herby terminated until further notice.

What does it mean exactly:

- “as athom actively demands implementation of features they want to have”?
- “as this software was developed in no relation to athom”?

Of course, you don’t have to publish internals, but I thought any person is allowed to develop an app. And of course there’s an approval process by Athom.

Anyway, this is an app that many users want to use because it’s just great app!!!

Is there anything we can do?

Yeah, @MadMonkey;
I see you are writing this at several apps (the conflict between developer and Athom).
Is this the case for all those apps?
And what is going on then?

Please provide some more detailed information.
Without it, it just seems a bit unfounded.
Not saying it is, but seems like it this way.

Are you suggesting he’s making something up? Whatever the reason, he’s free to do what he wants if he doesn’t agree with something.

@robertklep Are you suggesting I wrote that?
Not at all. That is not what I wrote at all:

> [@Henk\_Renting](#):

Mind the word “seems”.
You are suggesting here:

> [@robertklep](#):
>
> Are you suggesting he’s making something up?

If something “seems” that way, it doesn’t have to be it 'is" that way or that someone is making things up. And “unfounded” is not “unfair” of “unjust”.
I have counted about 5 apps where the same statement is being made without clearification.
Is it so strange to ask for some?

> [@robertklep](#):
>
> Whatever the reason, he’s free to do what he wants if he doesn’t agree with something.

Of course he is. But writing the same statements at 5 different apps, I (and I seem not to be the only one) are wondering what is happening then…

Hi Arjan, I see you found the git source.
Geurt Dijker [made a fork](https://github.com/Dijker-nu/Homey.Splines), maybe that version is cli installable, altough it seems a 1 on 1 copy

 ![Screenshot_20211007-183907_Firefox](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/1/7/17b0d89c6414a1abad998116c1f2602af2aec492.jpeg)

Oh, and did you install it from the `ch.philippewechsler.splines` folder?

Yes I did install that folder. But get a pause symbol after install and the message that the app is stopped. I will try the one from geurt dijker
