Some things have changed, which were reason to deprecate several brands: - Compared to before, I have significantly less time for supporting this app - The app is now ‘verified’ and works on Homey Cloud - The app has been rebuilt from the ground up to modernise the code base and achieve the former - I can only update the app as a whole, not just specific drivers/brands The reason for a brand/driver being deprecated is one or more of the following: - The pairing process is not user friendly (users have to manually grab IDs from some portal or find an IP address of their inverter) - The vendor does not supply one API that supports most or all devices they sell - The vendor has an API that is unstable (lots of downtime) The above reasons lead to many support requests, which I don’t all have time for anymore. Additionally, Athom has guidelines on user friendliness, and the app wouldn’t get through if I would keep some of those drivers in. It may seem frustrating because things worked just fine before the update.
