OK, it looks like it detects the wrong profile, but I don’t understand why.

The app checks various registers for a good grid frequency value, but the profile it picks up should be checking register 14 which is returning 81.97Hz according to the log. That is out of range, so it should ignore that profile and move on to check the next one.

Could you disable the log option, so it just returns the start up check values and errors. Then restart the app and go back to the log. Once you see a ‘Found inverter’ message in there, send the log.

Typical, it didn’t find any matching profiles that time.

I think I might have found the problem though, so I have published a new test version. At the very least this will provide extra information if it still doesn’t work.

New test version is in the store.

Great work!

Now all the devices are showing values. However, the power output for the battery and solar panel is too high. I’ve attached a few screenshots.

If you look at the second and third screenshots, the information on the third screenshot is correct. The second and fourth screenshots show the values from your app. The other two screenshots show how it should look.

Hi,

we have visitors today, so I only had a quick look,

but it looks good so far.

However, the device battery keeps losing connection. Screenshot attached.

I think I’ll have time to test it further tomorrow afternoon. In the screenshot, all the devices in your app start with “Sofar.”

Three are reachable, only one is briefly unreachable. Thanks for your work and time.

Hi Adrian,

Did you get the data by decoding the Wifi wrapper code around the embedded MQTT data? Just curious (apologies i haven’t read completely through the very long thread).

I wrote something to control my sofar inverter over wifi but its in C# at the moment.
