Allthough i didn’t reinstall both the app nor the device (car), I did experience the same issue when interning the API key. I think the device does works fine though.

Hmm I did not had that with me. I will have a look, this might be some kind of timeout.

There may be a new API system on the way?

Hi there, a little more feedback from me. Once the car was added, it felt pretty stable, so I’m happy with the new API and app! Beside my earlier feedback, there are two other things I’ve noted.

First are the status messages for door and window. Consider these statuses for door, window, and heating:

 ![skoda-confusing-clear](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/c/5/c5959a2a7b8072bed08885072c5775858f14164c.png)

For heating, it is immediately obvious what the state is. For the door and window, it is very confusing: are they open or closed? It really takes a couple of reads to understand this rather ambiguous looking message… 😕! A simple rewording of the text could help here. Same holds for the lock. That label should be “Lock” or “Door lock”, not the current “Locked” (the status messages are fine as it is with “Locked” and “Unlocked”). Another one is the status signifying if it is moving or parked. It is either “Stationary: in motion” or “In motion: stationary”. Also a bit confusing!

Second is that some status messages do not seem to get updated, or perhaps incorrectly parsed. For example, that window heating is “On” for 8 days now. That is confusing, because in reality it is off. The JSON that I get back on the command line says: `"windowHeating": { "enabled": true, "front": "OFF", "rear": "OFF" }`, so it is Off, not On.

</div>

I’ve noticed that the target charge level and similar sensors doesn’t seem to take charging locations into consideration. I always get values from the “default” settings.

I was still on the 0.5.1 version of this app and want to install the current -non-test- version, but I can’t seem to find it. When I search for Skoda in the app-store I get the old version. I have deleted the old one as well but then also I am only getting the old version.

What is the way to find the 2.x versions?

I have an Enyaq, not sure what other cars this also applies to, that allows us to specify locations that by gps location of car, override certain global settings, such as target charge level.

However, the Homey app always displays the global/default target charge level, even if the car currently uses one of the locations.

</div>

Hey @lobbin

My Enyaq does not support this, probably because it is an other model.

This is idd not supported at this moment, the API appears to expose that so it should be possible to integrate this somehow, but I have to think about it.

The showing of data is an easy one. But what if you have a flow that changes the target SOC? Should it change the default? Should it change the currently active one?

Kind regards,

I would say that changing the soc should change the same soc that’s being displayed.

Perhaps a setting where the user could opt-in to use location aware sensors or keep the current behaviour?

I’ve pushed v2.2.1 towards test now, this should include this change.

Do I need to do anything else than updating? I don’t see the new sensors.

Note that I updated from the regular version to the test version of that matters.

Hey Kenny,

Would it be possible to add the electric range as well? For my plug-in hybrid vehicle, I currently only see the combined range, but I would appreciate being able to view the electric range separately, since I believe that information is already available.

Thanks in forward!

hello

when i try to use api key, app says connection refused because of wrong api key or vin number. After investigation with chatpgt and tests, “we” have found someting : the url [https://public.api.connect.skoda-auto.cz/api/v1/vehicles/${VIN}](https://public.api.connect.skoda-auto.cz/api/v1/vehicles/$%7BVIN%7D) can’t be soveld by Homey but after investigation this one works by using CNAME Azure

[https://msp-gw-myskoda-live.westeurope.cloudapp.azure.com/api/v1/vehicles/${VIN}`](https://msp-gw-myskoda-live.westeurope.cloudapp.azure.com/api/v1/vehicles/$%7BVIN%7D%60);

Hope it can help

Hey

@Gilles_Warot

Which Homey are you using it on? Is it still the case with you?

@lobbin

The fact that the charging profile is blank means the API does not return my any active profile. Could you try to make ma a diagnostics report when it should be in an active profile?
