Hi Andi Quick Question → is it possible to have a “then” card for the wall display to show a device? E.g. if the doorbell is activated (in my case a shelly 1pm) THEN open my unifi camera device on the wall display. this would always show me on the walldisplay (near the entry) if someone rings the bell who the person is) 🙂 (i guess live stream is not possible, currently i get the latest picture with the unifi cam) ---

Great news — this is now implemented in v1.3.50! A new **Flow action card** is available: **“Show camera on dashboard”** How it works: 1. Create a Flow with your doorbell trigger (e.g. Shelly 1PM switches on) 2. Add the action **“Show camera on dashboard”** 3. Select your camera device (autocomplete filters to cameras and doorbells only) 4. Select the target display — either **“All displays”** or a specific display from your configured profiles When the Flow triggers, the dashboard will automatically open the camera snapshot modal on the selected display(s). No manual interaction needed. **Example Flow:** _When_ Shelly 1PM (doorbell) turns on → _Then_ Show Unifi Camera on Entry Display Note: The snapshot shown is the latest image from the camera — live streaming depends on the camera app (Unifi in your case). But it pops up automatically so you can immediately see who’s at the door! ---

Hi! Sorry, I had to return it. The Shelly Wall Display XL is a terrible piece of hardware. I have no idea how a device with such a laggy UI is released and sold at a premium price in 2026. I have no bad words about the app, but holy cow what a terrible device. ---

Hi Andi Some usecases are just popping up in my mind during “daily life”. would it be possible to have a feature like “messages” on the walldisplay? e.g. i need a reminder for something (take out the trash / robot vacuum needs cleaning / …). like a message popup which you can send to your display. could be like a modal or popup. also with the function that it will disapear after x min. ---

Looks fine as long there is no solar production - right? Open the Meter device in the Homey app **during solar production** and check the live measure\_power value — does it show positive or negative when you’re actually exporting to the grid? If it always stays positive, I’ll need to add alternative direction detection in the dashboard (e.g., derive the sign from the meter\_power.imported vs meter\_power.exported delta). ---

well i don’t think its looks fine even without solar productions, because as you see here my house is asking 0.70kw , and that import is coming from the battery. Hi Andi, This looks really interesting. I’ve tried it through the web browser, and I’m considering getting a Shelly Wall Display (4") for my home office. However, there are a few things that feel a little “clunky” to me, so I’m not entirely sure whether I should invest in one. 1. **Light controls** 2. **Blind controls** 3. **Information displayed on tiles** 4. **Tile shape** Please don’t take any of this as criticism. I think it’s great that an app like this exists, especially since both Athom and Shelly seem to be too lazy to create an official solution. That said, have you considered following the official Homey design guidelines more closely? For example: - Tapping a tile could open an overlay with the relevant controls, such as a dimmer slider for lights, rather than putting the slider directly on the tile. - The on/off control could remain in the top-right corner rather than having the tile itself act as the on/off control. - Blinds could have multiple control options available in the overlay, such as up/down/stop as well as position control. - Lights could similarly provide controls for dimming, colour and colour temperature in the overlay. Adopting the familiar Homey style controls would also mean users wouldn’t have to learn two different interaction methods depending on whether they’re using Homey normally or your app. Again, great work, and thanks for creating the app! I’m really interested in it and will follow closely to see how it develops. Cheers, Alex ---

Hi Andi, Works great for me! The one thing I’m missing though - to be able to display widgets from Homey. I am using Calendar-cloud app which lets me display a widget with my calendar on Homey dashboard, would be awesome to show it on shelly wall display as well.
