Hi everyone, I just published a new version that should fix this login problem. The ‘old’ limitation still applies, that it takes sometimes several attempts to validate and login correctly. But I have updates again.

Very useful app!!! I can login and start charging. Only thing is when i enter the amount to charge with, it shows up in the app. I put in 4000 watt, or 4Kwh.
But in real time its charging the maximum 11,04 Kwh.
Does anybody know what i am doing wrong?
The newmotion things do not support telling what they should be charging with, at least not the old ones. So this is more a estimate of power usage you expect it will be charging with so homey can show it in the powrr dash.
So if your car pulls 11kwh, enter 11kwh there. If you can limit it somehow, i do that by limiting my car to 7A per fase, so i put in i will charge with 4.8 kwh.
So it feeds the homey power dash only, had no other effect on the charge behavior.
And if there are now newmotion charger that can do this, let me know, I’ll set it i can implement it properly. Start work showing me a screen shot from the website that shows where you can do this

Hello seems that i have a litle problem with de app or shell
Installed the app on homey pro and have a conection with the charging unit. But it says that it is off line
Connected with utp to my home network

Can you manage the charger (start stop sessions) from the shell recharge mobile app?
I never tried it without the subscription so i honestly don’t know. So please tell me what you can manage on it using the app.

No, not anymore. It has worked for 2 years, also i can not reset te unit via the webpage anymore.
I had a small hope that homey talks directly to the charging unit
At first, only start and stop a charge
No they did not have a local api available. So i use the cloud api to interact.
I have contacted Shell and a power reset of the unit dit the trick. It is again online. So now I can switch it on and off by Homey.

I’m not able to login inside the Homey Shell Recharge app. I think because of OTP/MFA. Since a while Shell forces it.

It’s otp used for you in the browser version? For me its only enforced in their mobile app.
Only in the app.
But I get a error message that he cannot login. The credentials are correct.
My chargepoint has not been updated in Homey since jan. 22. I also get an error when I try to repair the device and fill in my credentials: Login validation failed, check your credentials or try again. Retrieving the token sometimes fails due to the website. If you are sure your credentials are fine just try a couple of times.
However, when I try to login on the Shell Recharge website I also get an error that the username and/or password are incorrect (while they are correct).
When calling Shell Recharge the automatic answer informs they are having issues with some accounts, so maybe this is a problem at Shell and not the Homey app.
For me the shell website, app and homey app still work with this login method.
