Hoi Mickel,

Als ik jou een gratis Versa plus opstuur zou je dan een app ontwikkelen.

Heb namelijk een aantal Versa Plus printen liggen waar ik niets meer mee doe.

Hi @Mickel_Luiten ,

First of all, thanks a lot for this great app!

At a recent installation I’ve found a weird new thing. Instead of having zones yes or no states until change their real status, they are “blinking” between yes and no in every seconds while active and stays no while inactive. I realised this with a window, however the motion alarms also blinks at least three times before stays no.

Have you ever seen behaviour like this?

</div>

In the mean time, I’ve checked other installations, this behaviour happens only on this site. The issued site is a very fresh install, with the latest sw loads on the Integra.

As far I know this is normal behavior in homey also not programmable

Has also nothing to do with the integra sw

If this not affect the use in homey then what is your point?

But this happens only at this site. I have 10+ installations where this is not the case.
I use this sensors for zone activity but also their “And” cards, so will not work any automation with blinking homey window statuses

That is the same firmware on my system(same release date)

So again there nothing wrong with the homey satel app as all other users has no issues and I can’t reproduce your particular issue.

Update: Security installer replaced the Integra alarm main board, also the ETHM module just for sure. Issue still exist. (Only at this house, other several installations work fine)

If I can ever solve the issue, I’ll get back.

I just write to let the community know, finally issue has been found. If we turn off some of the power outputs of the Integra main board, this issue disappears. In the mean time the same “blinking” issue appeared at a new installation too. At first site we turned off the second power output, at the second site we need to disable the third power output, at both sites issue disappeared since then. Probably it’s a to date existing Integra Firmware issue.

I have the same problem. I used a workaround: for each Satel sensor, I created a [Virtual Device](https://homey.app/en-gb/app/com.arjankranenburg.virtual/Virtual-Devices/) and in the flow set a timer to 2 seconds. I hid the actual Satel sensors and use these virtual devices in my scenarios (flows).
For example, for windows, I added an “Open Alarm,” allowing me to display this status in the interface instead of “Contact Alarm.”

I need to check the power outputs, the way you did it. Thanks for a tip.

Hi @Mickel_Luiten,

First off, thank you for developing and maintaining this app!

I’d like to request a feature enhancement regarding partition management. Currently, we can control the general armed/disarmed state for partitions, but it would be extremely useful if we could specify the Satel arming mode (0–3) when arming a partition—either via device allowing add multiple times the same partition with specified mode or dedicated Flow cards.

As a quick refresher on the Integra arming modes:

0 - (Full Arming / Away): All assigned detectors/zones are active. Triggers entry delays where configured. Used when leaving the property empty.
1 - (Full + Bypasses / Day): Full arming mode, but zones marked as “No interior arming” (or bypassed interior detectors) remain inactive so you can move around inside.
2 - (Stay / Night - Silent Alarms): Interior zones are deactivated. If a perimeter zone is breached, it triggers a silent alarm (or internal sounders only, avoiding loud external sirens).
3 - (Stay / Night - Instant Alarms): Interior zones are deactivated, and standard entry delay zones act as instant zones (no countdown time given upon opening entry doors).

Having native support for modes 1–3 would allow much better integration with Homey’s home/away and night routines (e.g., setting the modes automatically at bedtime).

Is this something that could be added to a future release?

HI , thanks for you suggestion.

I think i can make some extra flows to accomplish the different Arming mode.
On the devicecard i don’t see any options to add different arming modes.
Would this be workable for you?

Since then, we found an other Integra bug in their FW. It is related to extension boards. At that site, we used Zone 1 on the extension board for a motion sensor, so all the other Zones (windows and door reed relays) cleared open status if the motion alarm sensed motion. Of course in the official integra phone application this issue was not present, appeared only in the integration so at Homey… Then we moved the motion sensor to Zone 8, issue dissappeared… that’s a fat craze…

Thanks for the super fast turn-around on the new arming modes cards! That was impressively quick, and it’s great to see it in the test release. Already installed the test app 😀

I have two below suggestions:

Could you please add a global text variable ( tag) on the partition device, e.g., “Arm mode”, that reports the current active arming mode string?

For instance, returning: `Full/Away`, `Full + Bypasses`, `Stay/Night - Silent Alarms`, `Stay/Night - Instant Alarms` and additional for disarmed when off `Disarmed` or `Not set`

I mean add it here :

 ![satel global vars](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/c/1/c1d687374d9553be674808f1463b0d630f3d90c6.png)

I think above is necessary to have:

If someone arms or changes the arming mode directly from a physical Satel keypad (manipulator) or the Satel mobile app, Homey currently has no way of reflecting _which_ specific mode was activated. A global status variable ensures Homey’s state stays in sync regardless of where the action originated.

Having this variable exposed allows us easily display the exact arming mode status in the Homey UI by creating custom virtual devices, or use it as conditional checks in logic flow cards.

Additionally: For all partition flow cards, could you please replace the text terms “turn on/off” with “arm/disarm”, and “turned on/off” with “armed/disarmed”? Using this terminology makes it much clearer… Also change “Turned on” to “Armed” in variable seen in above picture.

Sure, Check out testversion 5.1.0 [Satel Integra Alarm | Homey](https://homey.app/nl-nl/app/com.satelintegra/Satel-Integra-Alarm/test/)

The main on/off capabilty(default Homey) i can not change the text to arm/disarm without breaking it.
There is on the partitioncard now a extra capability(and tag) that displays correct arm mode.

Please test it , i do not use the different arming modes on my satel panel so i have only tested it with full arm/disarm(0)
