Is the App having issues connecting to Polestar’s cloud service?

In my Polestar 4 the Homey App is currently reporting the car’s latitude and longitude as 0,0 (off the coast of Africa…). The official Polestar App on my phone is correctly reporting the car’s location, so telemetry appears to be working between the car and Polestar’s cloud.

I tested it on mine, also a P4. But mine is still updating.

I worked it out. About a week ago I changed the email address associated with my Polestar account. However, simply updating the email address and re-entering the password into the Polestar Homey App didn’t resolve the connection issue. I had to uninstall the Polestar Homey app and then re-install it. Now it is working again.

Hi Vincent,
Can I suggest that the Polestar Homey app flow cards make use of the Error ports? Even though the Debug panel in the app configuration, highlighted that there was an authorisation type error (incorrect account details), the flow cards happily continue in the flows. With the error ports working, I could catch the connection issue.

Had the same issue as Michael\_Stephens where I had to change e-mail address on my Polestar account. Had to delete the old Polestar device and create a new. My advanced flow for my Polestar off course changed device id and screwed up my flow. This script updated my flow and fixed the grayed out attributes and variables (sorry for my Norwegian comments in the script):

```auto
// === CONFIG ===
const OLD_DEVICE_ID = "757d8b23-5ffb-4d4a-89c8-263c271103d7"; // gammel ID
const DEVICE_NAME = "Polestar"; // navnet på enheten i Homey
// === FINN NY DEVICE ===
const devices = await Homey.devices.getDevices();
const polestar = Object.values(devices).find(d =>
  d.name.includes(DEVICE_NAME)
);
if (!polestar) {
  throw new Error("Fant ikke Polestar-enhet");
}
console.log("Ny Polestar device ID:", polestar.id);
// === HENT ALLE ADVANCED FLOWS ===
const af = await Homey.flow.getAdvancedFlows();
const flows = Object.values(af.flows || af);
console.log(`Antall flows: ${flows.length}`);
// === OPPDATER FLOWS ===
for (const flow of flows) {
  let json = JSON.stringify(flow);
  // Sjekk om flow refererer til gammel device-ID
  if (json.includes(OLD_DEVICE_ID)) {
    console.log(`Oppdaterer flow: ${flow.name}`);
    // Erstatt gammel ID med ny
    const updatedJson = json.replace(
      new RegExp(OLD_DEVICE_ID, "g"),
      polestar.id
    );
    const updatedFlow = JSON.parse(updatedJson);
    await Homey.flow.updateAdvancedFlow({
      id: flow.id,
      advancedflow: updatedFlow
    });
    console.log(`Flow oppdatert: ${flow.name}`);
  }
}
console.log("Ferdig! Alle relevante flows er oppdatert.");
```

Then your network config changed, wifi first or utp first, use the repair wizard to use your hardware keys to reencrypt the password
