@lucasvdh I see you picked up android TV app development again. Any chance you will do the same for the Phillips TV app?

I was planning to yes, but please understand my time is very limited. At the moment, I only have about an hour per week that I can dedicate to my hobby projects, and I have a few of them.

I see that a few PR’s have been created on GitHub. I will check them out, thank you for your contributions.

Hi Lucas,

I do not want to urge you, but it is already a while ago that you responded and the app is still suffering from quite some important issues (buttons not working correctly). Any update on progress or planning when you work on it?

Thanks in advance,
Jacco

Are there any plans for an update? It’s a bit pointless to have an app that doesn’t work.

It looks like the owner doesn’t care about his application which doesn’t work at all, even when people raised a few pull requests that could fix working on the latest version of Homey Pro.

It seems it will be needed to create a separate app.

Yes, it’s annoying. It’s the reason I’m experimenting with home assistant now; the Philips integration is perfect, including Ambilight, Hue, and screen off/on… all what you want to automate in flows

Would it be possible to at least go back to the previous version? If I recall correctly the last update broke the integration with my Philips TV (75PML9506/12) last year. Maybe it’s the same for a lot of other people.

Hi, I have 65MPL9506, but was unable to get json. Tried almost all posibilities (all ports but only few api versions - 6,5,1,7):

- `http://{your_tv_ip}:1926/{api_version}/system`
- `https://{your_tv_ip}:1925/{api_version}/system`
- `https://{your_tv_ip}:1926/{api_version}/system`
What api version and port are you able to call your tv please?

are you asking me? How do I find out the API version?

edit: tried all these:

The first one generates a white page. The others generate errors.

I uninstalled the beta version and installed the normal 2.5.1 version but that doesn’t find my TV. However, I found the Android TV app from the same maker (@lucasvdh) and that look better: my TV is found as an Android TV device and the PIN showed, but it did not connect yet. Was a bit busy so I will check that later.
