I just received a new Philips Hue Ensis pendant, which should be supported by this app (I don’t have or want a Hue Bridge), but it turns out that it is not supported by the app. I’m guessing it could be that it has a different ID to what the app expected, so it isn’t recognized.
However, I could add both the lower and the upper light as generic Zigbee devices, and as far as I can tell, there’s nothing I can’t control. The cards available seems to be the exact same cards as this app would have provided. What am I missing?

Hi @mroek
If you let me know what Zigbee info your devices have I’ll add support for them to the app.
When you add a device as generic Zigbee basic functionality like on/off, dim up/down, color select etc often works nicely. Some devices need special drivers to have added functionality work, and some devices needs special drivers for even the basic stuff… so it’s not always obvious to the user what needs what.
When you use the app for something that already works as generic Zigbee you will get an additional specific icon for that kind of device, your device will be listed in the flow editor under the app and not only as a generic unit and you will get any brand specific functionality that is not part of the generic driver. Eg you will for example get the functions “remember last state on power loss”, “blink” and “alarm”.

Not every app has always a test version.
You can click on the link at the Homey app store and add /test behind the link.
If there is a test version it will open the test version page.
