Hey Nannes. I’m in the same boat as you are. I don’t have the modbus-remote. My research tells me that I have the «Gen 2» Heru 100T EC. Do I just have to buy the remote, or do I nees anyhing else? What Heru dobyou have? ---

I have the Heru 100T EC myself. When I moved in to the house it did not have the modbus menu on the remote. I bought a new remote with modbus options, paired it with the unit and then I could enable the modbus on the unit itself. Just make sure you check that the board on the unit has terminals for connecting the wires ---

I’m not sure what gen board I have in the unit actually. I just checked that it had the modbus terminals and I bought the remote that included the modbus menu. So the only thing I’ve “upgraded” is the remote ---

Alright. From what I learned; gen 2 has the black antenna, while gen 3 has a white one. Anyways, love your work here. I will most likely turn back for some questions when receiving the new remote. ---

FYI I have Heru 100 s installed last year. I do not have the remote or the “panel”. I have only the app that connects to the unit with blutooth. Needed only to go into settings and enable modbus over tcp, worked great! ---

Just added with modbus TCP/IP. Everything works fine except i constantly have active alarm. There is no alarm in the HERU IQ mobile app and no alarm on my IQC display. I have seen that it is possible to invert some alarms, but its kinda impossible when I can’t see which alarm is active. Just have a general “alarm active” ---

You can use this flowcard (advanced flows only) to list the active alarms: ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/a/a/aae5836d0b4cfac641ca295bca05a9c95687a414.png) I plan on looking into the alarms part at some point, but at the moment I don’t have much free time to prioritize Homey. When I first made the app I sent a mail to Östberg about the active alarms, and they said there could be a issue on their side wrt this, but nothing confirmed. There is a pull request open regarding the active alarms, but it hasn’t been verified to actually fix the alarms other than saying they are not active anymore. I want to disconnect a fan/sensor etc to confirm that it’s actually working before taking it in and releasing, but as I mentioned, I don’t have time to prioritize to this now. ---

Hey @kjeet90 , I just opened a PR to fix a lot of issues for both the gen3 and the IQC remote. It also implements a lot of the features off the Gen3 Remote, including the active alarms, reset active alarms and the reset filter timer. I verified that these features are now working for the gen3 remote, but i don’t have an IQC remote, so i wasn’t able to implement new feature to that remote, nor able to verify the fixes. ---

BTW, Opus 5.5 is incredible nowadays. I uploaded the original manual of my unit and asked it to implement all features that aren’t in the service menu. It figured out it needed Zwift CLI to extract the text from it because the pdf was over 40mb. Then it went ahead and implemented everything perfectly according to the modbus registers. It even made an option to have the units’ date and time synced with Homey, rather than adding a bunch of inputs to the settings screen, which i find amazingly elegant!
