# \[APP\]\[Pro\] Narwal: Control for Narwal robot vacuums

Hi everyone,

I’ve rewritten the Switcher app for Homey Pro from scratch, and it’s ready for testing. It controls Switcher devices directly over your local network: no cloud, instant response, and it keeps working when the internet is down.

**Supported devices**

- Water heaters: V2, Touch, Mini, Long, Boiler S216 (onWall)
- Smart Plug and Bath Heater
- Shutters: Runner, Runner 55
- Shutter and light switches: Runner S11, Runner S12
- Light switches: SL01, SL02, SL03, SL Mini 01, SL Mini 02
- Breeze (air conditioner control)

**What you get**

- Water heaters: on/off, a timer on the device page (15 to 120 minutes), time left, auto shutdown, power and energy use (kWh, also in Homey Energy)
- Shutters: position, up/stop/down, child lock
- Switches with several circuits become one Homey device per light or shutter, so each can go in its own room
- Breeze: mode, temperature, fan speed, swing and room temperature, with the IR codes of 259 AC remotes built in
- Flow cards: turn on for a set time, set auto shutdown, timer running, time left changed, child lock, set the air conditioner, correct the known AC state

Requires Homey Pro with Homey 12.9.0 or newer.

**Before you start**

- If you use the older Switcher app, disable it first. Only one app can listen to the Switcher network messages at a time; this app tells you during pairing if they are blocked.
- The Bath Heater, Boiler S216, Runner S11/S12 and the Light switches need your Switcher account token. Request it at [Switcher API](https://switcher.co.il/GetKey/) with the email of your Switcher account; the app asks for it once while pairing.
- Breeze: Homey sends commands through the remote chosen in the Switcher app. Changes made with the air conditioner’s own remote are not seen; the “Correct the known AC state” card fixes that.

**What I’d love to hear from you**

The water heater support is tested on a real Switcher Touch. All other models are built from the protocol documentation and tested with recorded device data, so reports from owners are very welcome, especially for the Runner models, the Light switches, the Bath Heater, the Boiler S216 and the Breeze. Please mention your model and what worked or didn’t.
