It sure will! The whole shebang šŸ˜‰ Meross did provide me with an OAuth API which will be used for Homey Cloud, since at the moment it only supports garage door openers and thermostats. For Homey Pro Iā€™m working on an API which combines the local HTTP and cloud MQTT connections Meross ā€œoffersā€ to support basically any device Meross has released. ---

Wanted to add a vote for garage door opener (MSG100/MSG200) support, and flag two UX issues Iā€™ve hit using the Community appā€™s garage door driver thatā€™d be great to avoid if youā€™re building this fresh: 1. **Quick action toggle polarity:** currently the button highlights as ā€œonā€ when the door is _closed_ ā€” counterintuitive. Would suggest ā€œonā€ = open, ā€œoffā€ = closed. 2. **Status text clarity:** currently shows ā€œYes/Noā€ (Yes = closed, No = open), which isnā€™t self-explanatory. ā€œOpen/Closedā€ text would be much clearer, especially for other household members glancing at the app. Happy to help test once thereā€™s a build to try. Iā€™m looking for a garage door controller for my Homey Pro. However, when I install the official Meross app and choose **Add Device** , neither the MSG100 nor the MSG200 appears in the list of supported devices. Am I missing something? - Which Homey app is supposed to support the MSG100/MSG200? - Is the Best Buy Guide outdated? - Does the official app support these devices at all? Iā€™d like a proper garage door device in Homey (open/close + status), not just a relay with separate flows. ---

**ISSUE REPORT ā€” Meross Official App (Homey Pro 2026)** ā€¢ My Meross MS605 is **not** a Matter device, yet both Homey and my iPhone still initiate a Matter pairing process. ā€¢ The Meross app on Homey **does not display any login screen**. ā€¢ The app only shows: Enabled, Automatic Update, Restart, Diagnostic Report, Uninstall. ā€¢ There is **no option to log in** with my Meross account. ā€¢ As a result, the Meross cloud **does not synchronize** , and the MS605 **does not appear** in Homey Devices. ā€¢ I have removed the app **five times** , performed a cold boot (Homey unplugged for 1 minute), and reinstalled it via the App Store ā€” but the login module **never appears**. ā€¢ Insights still shows CPU/RAM, but this is **old data** ; the app is truly removed. ā€¢ The Meross app appears to be stuck in a **ā€œhalfā€‘installedā€ state** , where the cloud token and login module are not being loaded. ---

Support for non-Matter devices and Matter-over-Wi-Fi devices that are accessible through the Meross cloud/app is currently being worked on. However, the MS605 itself will always connect via Matter over Thread and therefore requires a Thread Border Router, such as Homey Pro, to function. ---

Yes i can confirm the explanation from Doekse, i have many MS605 pecisions sensor in my home working and all are teached directly into the Thread network too Homey pro 2026 with the existing official homey appā€¦ ---

Hi all! Over the past little while, Iā€™ve spent quite some time working on the [node-meross-sdk](https://github.com/Doekse/node-meross-sdk), which will be used by the Meross app for Homey to add support for non-Matter devices. The first device type Iā€™ll be supporting is Smart Plugs, basically everything listed under the `Smart Plug` section in the Meross mobile app. For those of you using these products, Iā€™ll need your help testing the different plugs to make sure everything works as expected. Iā€™m hoping to launch a first version this weekend. Hi I have a question. I bought an Meross mrs105 shutter switch. Installing all went good and controlling the shutter with the device button in homey works without any issues.. but when I make a flow it goes wrong; Just easy ; when time is 22:00, then close shutter, it sometimes works but mostly it doesnā€™t! When I press the start flow button or the device button in Homey it closes without any problems. what can be wrong, and what can I do to solve this? Hope to hear! ---

It will! The SDK is TypeScript-based and will support all devices that can also be used in the Meross mobile app. Devices will communicate either via MQTT through the cloud or via local HTTP if Homey can reach the device locally, which will most likely be the case. For local HTTP, I currently have polling for power, voltage and amperage set to every 30 seconds. Iā€™d like to make that quicker if possible, but that will need some testing to see how the devices handle it. All in all, it has been running very stable for the last couple of days. Iā€™m currently just waiting for the device icons before I can push the first version. For cloud MQTT, Meross has some pretty strict rate limits, and exceeding them can actually get you kicked off your account. When using cloud MQTT, power, voltage and amperage will therefore be polled at most once every 180 seconds. Thereā€™s also a limit of 5 outbound calls per 91 seconds. So if you control the device frequently, polling may occasionally be delayed because of that. I did also get access to a dedicated OAuth-based API from Meross for our integration, but unfortunately that currently only supports garage door openers and thermostats. ---

This update introduces the new [node-meross-sdk](https://github.com/Doekse/node-meross-sdk) and adds support for Smart Plugs, Smart Outdoor Plugs, Smart Surge Protectors, and Smart Switches across all Homey Pro models running version 13.0.0 or later. Version 3.0.0 will remain in testing for a while so I can monitor how different devices perform with the new library.
