# \[APP\]\[Pro\] MELCloud (Classic), MELCloud Home & MELCloud Extension - Take control of your heat pump

Hi @Stortkoker,

If you want full control of your heat pump, you can only use the **Full thermostat mode** set of values, which includes fan and dry modes.

The other set of values – under **HomeKit thermostat modes** – allows you to control your heat pump from the Apple Home app through the Homey [HomeyKit app](https://homey.app/fr-fr/app/com.swttt.homekit/HomeyKit/).

However, you can also use them from Homey, as they perform the same actions.  
The Apple Home app does not support fan and dry modes, so the two sets of values sync as follows:

**HomeKit Modes =\> Full Modes**  
_Heat_ =\> _Heat_ + power _on_  
_Cool_ =\> _Cool_ + power _on_  
_Auto_ =\> _Auto_ + power _on_  
_Off_ =\> Power off (full mode unchanged)

**Full Modes =\> HomeKit Modes**  
_Heat_ =\> _Heat_ (power unchanged)  
_Cool_ =\> _Cool_ (power unchanged)  
_Auto_ =\> _Auto_ (power unchanged)  
_Fan_ =\> _Off_ (power unchanged, remains _on_ if already _on_)  
_Dry_ =\> _Off_ (power unchanged, remains _on_ if already _on_)

Note that with the full modes, you have to manage the power _on_ / _off_ separately.
