Hi everyone! My Last post got hidden and or removed due to spam or advertising so i will try again. I’ve been working on a Homey Pro app that connects to **AXIS Camera Station Pro** , and I wanted to share it here to see if anyone would be interested in testing it. The idea came from wanting to use cameras already connected to AXIS Camera Station Pro in Homey, without having to add and configure each camera separately. The app connects to your Camera Station server and makes your existing cameras, views and events available in Homey. It’s still in testing, and I’d really appreciate feedback from anyone using AXIS Camera Station Pro who would be willing to give it a try. ### **What I’ve implemented so far** - **Live video:** View cameras connected to AXIS Camera Station Pro using its built-in WebRTC streaming, with adjustable video quality. - **Camera Station views:** Add existing Camera Station views to Homey, including split views. - **Dashboard widgets:** View live camera feeds, check camera and recording status, see recent events and start manual recordings. - **Flow integration:** Use motion detection and other Camera Station events to trigger automations. - **Camera controls:** Start and stop recordings, add bookmarks, move PTZ cameras to presets and activate Camera Station triggers. - **Server monitoring:** Monitor camera connectivity, recording failures and disk problems, and use these events in Homey Flows. - **Snapshots:** Capture camera images for notifications and automations. ### **What you’ll need** - Homey Pro. - AXIS Camera Station Pro with the web client enabled. I’ve tested it with version 6.16. - A Camera Station/Windows user account with the necessary permissions. - Homey Pro and Camera Station Pro on the same local network. Local live video streams directly from Camera Station without using an external cloud streaming service. Remote dashboard viewing uses Homey’s remote connection, with a snapshot fallback when needed. ### **Testing the app** If anyone is interested in helping test it, the test version is available here: > **[Live view for AXIS Camera Station Pro | Homey](https://homey.app/en-us/app/com.erikrichardson.acswebrtc/Live-view-for-AXIS-Camera-Station-Pro/test/)** > > Live video from AXIS Camera Station Pro over WebRTC, straight from your recording server. After installing, add a new device in Homey and select **Live view for AXIS Camera Station Pro**. You can then add a camera, an existing view or the server itself. The app should discover your Camera Station server on the local network and allow you to sign in using your Camera Station credentials. Event-based Flows require some additional configuration, which is explained in the app settings. ### **Feedback** I’m particularly interested in hearing how well the app works with different Camera Station installations, especially live streaming, dashboard widgets and Flow events. If you run into problems, notice something that doesn’t work as expected or have suggestions for improvements, please let me know here.
