Als het niet, of omslachtig, werkt, laat even weten. Dan kijk ik of ik de basic thermostat\_mode in kan bouwen (UI invisible) en alle flows op deprecated, dan kan Homekitty er wellicht mee overweg?  
Is misschien de moeite waard, veel gebruikers, daar zitten vast wel de nodige home app gebruikers onder.
