Hi all,

I have a homey pro and am trying to connect my intergas incomfort to it. However, I keep getting the message: Failed to connect, please check the form: {}.

IP adres, username and password are correct. I have used ‘admin’ as username and the password which is on the back of the gateway, but I have no way of verifying this is correct.

I have tried it multiple times and also resetted the intergas gateway.

Does someone have an idea how I can fix this?

Thanks!

Hi, I am new in Homey, come from Domoticz.

I added Intergas Incomfort in Homey and so far looks ok. I also synchronize Homey to Google Home and this also looks ok and I can set the temperature.

But if I want to use a voice command for Google (like ‘set the Intergas to 20) there comes an error that the thermostat can not be set.

Am I doing something wrong maybe?

Try “change the temperature to 20 degrees”. Altering the command a bit can make the difference.
I can get “couldn’t reach your thermostat” responses, but it adjusts the temperature anyway.

No problems with it here.
You indeed need to use the credentials mentioned on the back of the gateway.

1. Make sure to solely enter the IP address, no adding of slashes or http stuff
2. Do you use any network tools like PiHole/Adguard/alternative dns servers etc.?
3. Do you use vLAN’s?
4. Auto correct blessings:
Make sure the entered `admin` doesn’t get changed into `Admin`
5. Same for the pw, when it starts with a lower case letter, make sure autocorrect does not turn it into an uppercase letter
6. Check for leading and trailing whitespaces

I tried like this but the same error comes back: “Intergas kan niet in worden ingesteld op die temperatuur” (ik heb de thermostaat even intergas genoemd). Manual adjustment via google Home (app and hub) works ok, it is just that the speech command does not work.

You shouldn’t use the name of the thermostat like I tried to show:

Thank you for the reply. I have verified that I entered everything correctly (without spaces or capitals or something like that). With regards to vLAN and any other network tool, I am not sure. I have a router (where the intergas is connected to on an ethernet port) and an extra ethernet switch from netgear to increase the ethernet ports. Does this change something unexpected?

Exact same result: “Intergas kan niet worden ingesteld op die temperatuur”, tried in english and dutch.

Additonal queston, I have a Intergas heater in my company as well, is it possible to manage this one via my Homey as well? In Domoticz I can add it easily with the external IP address and port. At the destination there is a port forwarding to to heater.

When you didn’t change anything special it shouldn’t use vLAN’s.

Does this screen appear when you open [http://gateway.ip.address/](http://gateway.ip.address/) (use your gw’s IP here) and login with admin + pw?

Thank you for the suggestions. I have manged to get it working now! It turned out that the problem was the IP adress.

- When I tried your link with the ip adress that was known to me, it did not work initially. So I tried the admin password from the router (which was printed on the back of the router. That worked and all router settings were listed.
- Then I was able to see all connected components to the router (including the intergas). So when I saw that, I noticed that the IP adress is different than the one I tried (it had even one less digit). I have no idea how I should have known this, because all I got was the IP adress of the gateway of the router (via ipconfig)) and apparantly that is different then the one of the intergas gateway itself. That was not clear and not listed anywhere.
- However via this way I managed to get the correct IP adress. And then the password worked and I managed to get the same things as in your screenshots.

With this IP adress, I was also able to connect it through homey. Thanks a lot for the help!

Hopefully this also helps for other persons experiencing this problem.

Good to hear!

This is the reason why I always advice to bind a devices’ IP address to its MAC address ( also refereed to ad “Reserve IP address” / “set to fixed IP address”) on your DHCP server; this is usually part of your router.
This prevents devices getting a different IP address from the IP pool at some point in time.

This is also the place where you can find which IP address is assigned to which device.

A tool like [Network Analyzer](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appsinception.networkinfo) can also be of great help here.

Hi,

I’m using an Intergas Comfort Touch thermostat together with the InComfort/Comfort Touch Gateway. In Homey, the Intergas app only exposes boiler data (CV water temp, tap water temp, pressure, pump status, burner status, status codes), but it does _not_ expose:

- room temperature

- room setpoint

- room setpoint override

However, these values _are_ available on the Intergas Gateway itself.
Here is an example of the live data from my gateway:

- Room temperature 1: **19.58 °C**

- Room setpoint 1: **17.0 °C**

- Room setpoint override 1: **17.0 °C**

These values update correctly when I change the thermostat.

Because the Homey app does not read these fields, Homey always shows the default **19.5 °C** , and the Flow cards _“target temperature changed”_ and _“temperature changed”_ never trigger. Home Assistant (via Homey) also receives no real values.

Would it be possible to add support for the following fields from the gateway?

- `room_temp_1`

- `room_setpoint_1`

- `room_setpoint_override_1`

These values are clearly available in the gateway interface and update in real time.

Thanks in advance for looking into this!

Just change the target\_temperature with Homey. This overrides the programmed temperatures 😌

To me it sounds the gateway is not connected (anylonger), Henk.

This flow works fine:

I have these tags below available, and the values do change.

In H.A. I use the [Intergas integration](https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/incomfort).
This provides for a check if the gataway (& cloud) work as expected;
So, if it doesn’t work @ Homey, you know it’s not an Intergas issue

Hi everybody, I got my Intergas system today and the app looks great to me. But the version of the Intergas gateway they ship now is V3. Has anybody already experience with this version? The app only gives the choice for V1 or V2.

What I’d do is see if it will connect as v2 model anyhow, but Intergas seem to dislike external interfacing (why oh why)…
this is not great news:

It seems you’ll have to look for a (used) v2 model instead.

I just had contact with the Intergas (+31 88 878 8500) helpdesk and an interface to Homeassistent and Homey is in the Wishlist, but not a priority for Gateway v3. So please contact the helpdesk too and tell them more people wish to have this functionality. Hopefully that speeds up the development (or the release of the interface manual).
