It seems there is no calculation/output.  
Anybody an idea how to fix this?

You’d use the [trend] tag I guess.  
The selection list you show, just doesn’t show preview values @ Pro 23, like the Pro 16-19 still does.

I do wanna use the trend tag indeed. But this is not generate and I can not use.  
I want to use Logic to determine the value and then do something with that trend. But there is no #trend generate, indeed using HP23.

First connect the cards, for the first (left-hand) logic card field, you’d select the variable name you want the value to be saved.  
In the field on the right, you’d be able to select a tag, and then select one of the flow tags / local tags on top of the selection list.  
Don’t use the filter.

Hi! Something is not working properly for me.. I make a flow so each 15 minutes a trend in energy usage (watt) is calculated over the last 30 minutes.

These are the results (with manually activating the flow). Energy usage is from the eye ± -11.000 watt.. The flow is calculating an average of ± 0.75. What is this 0.75? And how can i calculate the average of watts 🙂

You are using the tag ‘trend’. You should use ‘average ‘

Hi  
Thank you for this great app, which seems to do exactly what I would like - but so far I didn’t manage to…

I would like to **write the rolling “Maximum Value” of the the insight “Gust strength (km/h)” to the variable “rolling\_gust”**. I would like to do this while a given condition is “true”.  
My use case is for awnings: I pull them up if “Gust Strength” exceeds a certain value, and would like to pull them down again, if the gusts have calm down for a while, hence the rolling maximum recording and tracking

Any help like screenshots of how you use this would be highly appreciated

You’re supposed to use the “calculate trend” and “when trend calc finished” cards in two flow segments, like this

@Wout,

It has been a while, but I created a flow that every hour calculates the trend for rain (mm) based on the last 1 hour.

Next another flow - when calculation has finished - calculates total rain for the last 1 hour with this comment:

Insight trend used 720 datapoints, but my Tempest device delivers only 60 datapoints (1 minute interval).  
So calculate total as average \* (datapoints / 12).

Next, just keep score with a flow that adds total per hour to total per day (or three days or whatever). With a reset of course.

Thanks @Rick_Heesakkers, I found that the Weather Underground app also provides historical data, so no need to record this in separate calculations. My irrigation system is almost finished…

Hey,

I found the issue. Somehow the cloud URL of your Homey couldn’t be read. I made a change on startup to prevent the app from crashing. Some icons might not be visible though when using the app.

NettoP works fine. Insight NettoP doesn’t work.
