Hi Arnar,

Yes, that’s it. With no solar in the evening, a forced charge comes from the grid, and the inverter caps charging from the grid at the **grid charge power** (register 47242, the value FusionSolar shows and sets). Yours was evidently very low (your log: 126 W against 3000 W asked for), so the battery crawled. With “Set grid charge power to 1500 W” it was allowed 1500 W from the grid, and it charged at that pace.

Good to know:

- **Grid charge power can’t go above its limit:** the **grid charge power limit** (register 47244), which is 2000 W by Huawei’s default. For 3000 W from the grid, raise the limit first with “Set max power charge from grid to 3000 W”, then use “Set grid charge power to 3000 W”.
- **Max charge power applies too:** the card never asks for more than **Max charge power** (register 47075).
- **Where to check:** all three are in the battery’s device settings, under “Charging from the grid” and “Charge and discharge power”, read from the inverter.

About the test run: pressing Exit early made no difference. Your log shows the command was sent completely (“Force charge command sent”) and the battery confirmed it (“Force charging confirmed by poll”).
