[APP][Pro] Heatit Controls app [v4.0.2]

If you have installed the test/experimental app, you will auto update to new experimental releases as they are released by the developer. (Unless you disable auto update, of course).

To revert back to the stable version, all you need to do is navigate to the stable release in the homey app store, and install it (it will replace/downgrade your experimental version).

Hope this solves your issue - it solved it for me!

Thanks for your reply.
Strange that didn’t work for me.
Anyway, it works now, I had to revert from a backup.

Autoupdate is off, lesson learned.

Hello.

I recently upgraded from my Homey (2019) to a Homey Pro.

After installing my new Homey and restored the backup my connection to my Heatit termostat stopped working.

I’ve tried to remove it which worked fine but it won’t reconnect. Neither through the Heatit homey app nor the Z-wave app works.

Tried reinstalling the Heatit app which didn’t help either.

Any ideas?

Tried changing the distance between Homey and the device?

Which Heatit thermostats?

T

Tried putting my Homey within 2m distance with no luck.

It’s a Z-TRM3. I always end up with ERR which I guess is the connection timeout

Hello,

I have the same issue where my TRM6 is not responding whatsoever - I’m still on 3.9.7 - is there a fix for this? Can anyone from HeatIt help?

Thanks, Allan

I’d try even closer, we’ve had experiences where users had to put it within 10cm during inclusion into their Homeys.

Does it still respond locally? What does the developer.athom.com show you regarding this device?

It only operates manually using the wall controller - it doesn’t respond to Homey whatsoever

It looks like the Heatit Z-TRM6 has lost connection to the HomeyPro as there’s no :wireless: icon showing on the Z-TRM6 display.

I’ve tried removing the Z-TRM6 from the app, factory resetting and re-connecting but continue to get the ERR code on the display.

Can you try repowering the device and see if it comes back?
Easiest way is to remove, and replace the front.

Hello,

I bought 9 thermostats Z-Temp3 connected to Homey Pro, but there is no ā€œwhen flow cardā€ about Heating turned on or off !
I cannot control the radiators !

Can you implement those cards ? (similar to the ones for Z-temp2..)

Thanks a lot
Have a nice day

We’re looking into it, there are in general quite a few missing flows which we are needing to add still.

Our main priority is making the devices work properly, and then we will add missing flows.

Thanks for your support. According to me, the heating trigger information is a ā€œmust haveā€ for a thermostat.
Unusable without it.

Thanks in advance for your valuable support.
Have a nice day.

Thanks.

Sorry for the delay in responding but been away…I had to completely reset / power down the Z-TRM6 and repaired it with everything and it sprung into life again.

Thanks.

Hi HeatitControllsAB,

First off, big thanks for developing the app for Homey — I really appreciate all the time and effort that’s gone into it.

I recently installed 3x Heatit Z-TRM6 Z-Wave 230V thermostats at a friend’s house, using a Homey Bridge (HomeyVersion ā€œ12.4.0ā€ Heatit Controls app version: v4.0.2).

I’ve run into a bit of a strange bug. There seems to be a temperature mismatch between what’s shown in the Homey UI and what the actual temperature is. Specifically, in the fourth tab (the one that looks like a speedometer [Pic1]), the temperature reading is correct and matches what’s displayed on the Z-TRM6 itself. But when I check the first tab [Pic2] of the same device, the reported temperature is off by almost 2 degrees.

Pic1!

Pic2!

I’ve been digging into it a bit further using the Developer Tools (Homey Developer Tools), saw that the measure_temperature is from 1 day ago.

Please let me know when you guys are planning on fixing this. I also made a ticket on github.

Thanks! Timothy.

{Edit: Picture update}

I just upgraded to v4.0.2 and checked, I see the same issue.
Sorry to say but there are too many bugs with this app, please fix this @HeatitControlsAB
Thanks!

You think I can downgrade to a different version on homey bridge?

I am new to Homey, but experienced with various automations systems.

I installed Homey Pro, and I can’t pair my Heatit Z-water2 or the Heatit thermostats. It recognizes that I’ve pressed the learning command on the Heatit unit, 1 becomes green, but 2 never complete (see photo). Eventually the ERR displays on the thermostat or the zwater goes back to blinking red.

I’ve tried to factory reset the Heatit units. They are next to the Homey when I attempt to pair.

I have paired some zigbee units and they work fine.

Homey is 12.4.1 and Heatit app is 4.0.2.

Appreciate any help! @HeatitControlsAB
