Hello is it possible to get a card to set specific Levels for the Rollotron DECT System not just Open/Close/Stop.
This would be a great enhancement for some Sun Protection Flows

Nice app, but I don’t know how to install, there is mention of a user and password in the Fritz, but nowhere is mentioned which ones.

Maybe a readme of some sort would be great.

And when the user and password is fixed, that would be an awful security flaw, so I guess there must be more to this. Please advice

Hey, i’ve rewrote the dect 500 support to use more of homey built in controls - could someone test it and give some feedback if it works like expected ? ( available in the [test version](https://homey.app/a/com.puschie.fritzbox-bridge/test/) )
Thank you very much

Since the latest update the polling interval of 2 seconds leads to inaccessible fritzbox frontend (no login page) and the devices do not respond/aren’t working in homey. There is no error message in homey. If set to 10 seconds everything works great - but of course with the additionial delay ☹ Is there anyone having the same issue or is it only me/my infrastructure?

@phil392
Hi, sounds like you have some traffic issues on your network - in previous versions, the app had wait for a response and skipped all request in between. now, it doesn’t wait for response (if it doesn’t arrive in time) and starts a new request to ensure dropped request and missing response doesn’t block the whole app.

This should not be problematic because the usual request/response takes less than 100ms. that’s why this might be a hint that something else in your network slows down traffic or your fritzbox response.

To prevent problems like yours, i can add a min wait time to about 5 sec before cancel waiting for response. ( i’m currently on business trip, so you have to wait a few days for this change )

Thanks for your quick response. I will check my network this evening (and reboot every single component). If i‘m the only one having this issue i’ll have to search for the problem in my setup…

Update: I‘ve tried everything but found no solution for my problem. Would be great if you could implement something like a switch in the settings for the latest changes (request/response-behaviour).

Question:
What is the best approach to show presence of a family member in Homey using the connection monitoring of this app?

The goal is to just detect whether a family member’s phone is connected.

Currently I use virtual devices, however I need 2 flows per device (one to enable, one to disable presence) - and there are 7 of us, meaning 14 flows…

Any better solution?

Thanks!

Hi,

no - i don’t see any „shorter“ ways of accomplishing that.

even if i create an improved trigger with integrated check, it reduce the required flows to 1 per person.

but you could use an advanced flow to have everything in one flow and simplify additional handling (like delays to tolerate restarts of devices)

</div>

Thanks for the quick response!

Well the advanced flow somehow does not offer the logic option “Device name is exactly”.

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/e/2/e2b81ea84b69d0745140661ef8cd56b83466c1b7.png)

I have no clue why this is like? Any clue? Since this would be also my preferred solution. In simple flows this is available…

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/0/4/04df0103f5eb1c7136e6dde0c8a8ecbb0573532b.png)

Regarding the solution with the simple flow, how could such an improved trigger look like?

Thanks!

In advanced flows, you need to connect the cards first before being able to use the tags

Hey there,

I‘ve tested my same setup with another fritzbox but got the same problems. It occurs only if i set the polling interval to lower than 10seconds. Could you please add the option in the settings for me (am i the only one?) to disable the last change (request-response behaviour)?

hey, please try (test) [v0.9.23](https://homey.app/de-de/app/com.puschie.fritzbox-bridge/Fritzbox-Bridge/test/) - this version wait 10sec for the response before resend request. It also does all requests in sequence instead of parallel, this should reduce the load for the fritzbox

Works like a charm - polling is now 1sec and no problems (for now). Great!

In the current versions of the Fritz!Box, it is possible to set up scenarios. The option to send a message with ringing to internal or external telephones using a scenario is new. If you connect the scenario to a doorbell, all or individual telephones ring. Would it be possible to integrate the start of a scenario as a device so that it could be triggered in Homey?
There is a way to implement this with Homeassistant. [FritzFon klingeln lassen - #28 von Boergmar - Integrationen - simon42 Community](https://community.simon42.com/t/fritzfon-klingeln-lassen/10235/28) I have tried this, but unfortunately the connection between Fritzbox and Homeassistant is not stable.

A brief field report: I integrated the new AVM sensors for windows and doors (Fritz!Dect 350) today. They work, even if they are not specified. An alarm is displayed that marks the opening of the windows and a second value with the date and time of the last status change, which is not adjusted. Handling is not affected by this.

Sorry for the delay @rosei - just released version 0.10.1 that include a trigger template action card. It gives you an autocompletion list of all available templates.

Please be aware that it require an active login and the autocompletion list is only updated every 10 seconds
