So that’s the current release version. Tap on Gerat to select which device you want to add and turn on the Aktiv… option if you need to configure the visible capabilities once it has been added.
any idea
Try the test version to see if that fixes it.
how can I install this?
Add test
to the homey.app store app URL
Or,
Open the app’s changelog at homey.app, and hit the orange ‘test’ icon
Ok, Test version is installed. Now I also see the setting options. Nothing happens when I add it. Just like before. He somehow can’t get a connection or anything and is constantly looking
What if you add a non-thermostat device, just to test.
same, test by shutter
I just tried using the other widget “sticky notes” which has the same problems. It just spins. Widgey and Clocks same Problem. Can anyone help?
Maybe force stop Homey app and then empty cache helps.
When not sure how to do that, just uninstall Homey app, restart phone, install Homey app again.
Maybe contact Athom as it seems to be an issue with widgets in general on your Home.
But @Peter_Kawa advise is good and on top of that, restart Homey.
thx, i woud to test it
I’m guessing the first error in the image is because a log level hasn’t been select. I need to make sure it default to a valid setting, but that shouldn’t be a problem apart from that error message.
reboot Ipad works… it can be so easy. Thx a lot
New test version should hopefully fix this.
Thanks Adrian! V1.1.4 works great. Much appreciated
I am working on creating a dashboard with an overview of sensors that have not responded in the past day. However the widget does not update itself and has to do a manual refresh. What I am showing here is an advanced virtual device.
The app uses capability listeners to get notifications when a capability changes. I have noticed that virtual devices don’t behave like normal devices as they don’t trigger change notifications.
I will take a look into adding an option to specify polling for these devices to see if that fixes it, but polling is a time wasting process as generally nothing changes.
