With this update I still try to find a solution for the auth issue (verification needed on 2nd login).
I found similar issues for HomeAssistant. For some users, a changed password solved the isseu. For others, only a changed login logic solved it. The app now tries to login with a cached token if it’s still valid. If it’s outdated, a normal login with user+pw is done.

The update will cause a validation error if login is done via email/pw. This can happen now or in some days when the token times out. It his happens, just repair the device, login data shoud be prefilled. Then do another 2FA verification and hopefulle it’s working then 🙂

@Linden85 @Radon FYI and try 👍

Thank you so much @RonnyW ! I already gave up using my Deebot T30 Omni Pro with Homey after Ecovacs changed the authentication… thanks to the weekly Homey community summary I heard about your app.

So I had to try it and it seems to work! I could already control my Deebot with some basic flows.

Very valuable and much appreciated!! Cheers!

BTW what is the slider or button on the very first device page of my Deebot??

Thanks 🙂

The slider is for water flow setting (for newer models where you can set in 0..50 range in Ecovacs app. Homey does not show the title, I hope they will change it someday.

But you can also use the water flow level (mode selection). That’s mapped to the level boundary shown in Ecovacs app.

Works great, your App @RonnyW… I really appreciate it! I bought now a Deebot T90 Pro Omni, the integration to Homey was easy and without any problems! All functions working properly!

Do you think it’s maybe possible that you add the zone maps, maybe as a widget? This would be great because then I don’t have to use the original Ecovacs App anymore!

Maps are currently not supported by the used JS module for the newer devices (called V2). But the map handling is rewritten in alpha version of the module, so I hope it will be added one day.

New **test version 1.1.2** :

- Clean report trigger added
- Re-added login by token as possible fix for 2FA/login issues.

To all users having the 2FA/login issue after adding a device:
Please report in this thread, do not send unrequested diagnostics report.
If you have this issue, please try app version 1.1.2 if this solves the login issue.

This issue is not an app issue, but an Ecovacs auth API issue. I can only try to find a workaround and this can only be done with your help, information and test 😉

I made a feature request for multiselect autocomplete fields. Let’s see if and when this get implemented.

For now, it would only be possible with some room fields in one card (3 or 5 or…?). A simple string field would work, but it’s no so nice.

Hi Ronny,

Thanks for the app.

Zone-specific cleaning (both “Clean Zone” and raw `vacbot.run("SpotArea", ...)`) does nothing on my T30C Gen2 — no error, no movement. Full “Start Cleaning” works fine on the same device, and zone data itself (names/IDs) loads correctly.

Debug log at startup shows:

```auto
- Is fully supported model: false
- Model: DEEBOT T30C Gen2 / DeviceClass: r0321c
```

plus repeated `Deebot Error: "Internal error" (errorcode -2)` on status polls.

A Home Assistant issue reports similar control-command failures on the same model/class: [Ecovacs Bug Report T30C Gen2 · Issue #161638 · home-assistant/core · GitHub](https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/161638)

Given T30-series is “Community” tier in `ecovacs-deebot.js`, this may be a known limitation rather than an app bug — but flagging in case it’s fixable or there’s a newer library version. Happy to send more logs.

Thanks!

Nearly all commands are dependent on the device configuration.

My T80 is a V2 device, but it also needed a special X2-like flag. Perhaps that’s the same for yours. But the T30 should be older and I think only the newer AI enabled devices are using the newer commands. But that’s not so easy to check from a distance.

I could change the settings and you can try. Or you can share your device an I can try (details via PM) - but don’t be scared when the robot starts to clean by itself 😄
