Hi Justin,

there is an important detail regarding the pairing history that may explain the current situation.

When I originally paired the EcoFlow system with Homey, the STREAM 5000 was not yet part of the system. At that time I only had the two older STREAM batteries and the inverter.

The STREAM 5000 was added later. Initially, EcoFlow did not allow me to add the 5000 to the existing Space. Only after EcoFlow distributed some firmware updates was I finally able to combine all devices into one EcoFlow system/Space.

Your Homey beta came afterwards.

So the current Homey pairing was originally created with a different EcoFlow setup than the one that exists today.

Would you recommend that I now remove the EcoFlow devices from Homey, uninstall/reinstall your beta app and pair everything again from scratch? Or would you prefer to inspect the current pairing and diagnostic report first?

I don’t want to change anything before hearing from you, especially since you asked me to leave the devices paired for now.

Cheers,
Robert

Oh sorry, you are right. I forget that 🙂
And I see that Solis have the samen “IF” “EN” but no “THEN” ☹
I use this app: [Solis Cloud Inverter | Homey](https://homey.app/nl-nl/app/com.soliscloud.inverter/Solis-Cloud-Inverter/test/)

Hi @Robert_Greiner and @EdNL,

I’ve published v1.10.23 to Test:

> **[EcoFlow STREAM Series | Homey](https://homey.app/en-us/app/uk.co.zarb.ecoflow/EcoFlow-STREAM-Series/test/)**
>
> Turn balcony sunlight into smarter home energy

Robert, thank you for explaining the pairing history. That could be relevant: the original Home Battery still reads from the device selected when it was paired. I haven’t confirmed that this causes the zero readings, so please don’t remove devices or uninstall the app yet.

This update adds information to the support report; it doesn’t change the battery readings or grouping. Please update in place, check that the app shows v1.10.23 and leave it running for about five minutes. Then open the EcoFlow app settings in Homey and select **Show support report**. Could you send that report, together with screenshots of EcoFlow’s combined-system screen and Homey’s Home Battery taken close together?

Ed, thanks for the Solis screenshots. Could you confirm whether the percentage labelled “Capaciteit” is the battery’s state of charge? Your point about having IF/AND cards but no THEN actions is important—we can’t assume Homey can control the Solis side.

The update also adds your EcoFlow device’s cached readings to the support report, alongside the existing reported settings and receipt-age information. It doesn’t add charging controls or solve the coordination yet, but a report from your installation would help with the next step. You can follow the same update/report steps above, without re-pairing.

Feel free to send the reports or screenshots by direct message after checking them for private information. Please don’t send passwords, API keys or tokens.

Cheers
JZ

Hi Justin,

I’ve updated the app to v1.10.23 and waited five minutes before generating the support report.

Support report ID:
ed73698e-c303-40fe-9783-7810e2366f01

I’ve attached screenshots of the EcoFlow app and Homey, taken close together.

The EcoFlow app shows the three STREAM devices at around 10% each, while Homey’s individual devices show approximately 9–10%. However, the combined device “STREAM Verbund” still reports 0%.

I also noticed this warning in Homey:

“STREAM control could not be verified safely; no commands sent.”

The reported settings shown in the warning are:

- onoff.ac1 = true
- onoff.ac2 = false
- charge\_limit = 97
- discharge\_limit = 0
- backup\_reserve\_soc = 10
- feed\_in\_control = false

I haven’t changed any settings or re-paired any devices.

Could you please check the report and let me know what you recommend next?

Cheers,
Robert

Hi @Robert_Greiner,

Thanks—the screenshots came through, and I’ve found your app log. The individual batteries have live readings, while ‘STREAM Verbund’ still shows 0%.

Sorry, I wasn’t clear enough about the report. The ID you sent retrieves Homey’s app log, but we also need the separate report displayed inside the EcoFlow app settings.

I’ve published v1.10.24 to Test, with a **Copy report** button and clearer control-failure diagnostics:

> **[EcoFlow STREAM Series | Homey](https://homey.app/en-us/app/uk.co.zarb.ecoflow/EcoFlow-STREAM-Series/test/)**
>
> Turn balcony sunlight into smarter home energy

Please update in place, confirm v1.10.24 and let it run for about five minutes. No need to delete devices, uninstall or re-pair.

Then:

1. Open EcoFlow STREAM Series → Settings → **Show support report**.
2. Click **Copy report** and send the complete text by direct message after reviewing it for private information. If copying is unavailable, select the displayed text and copy it manually.
3. Generate a fresh Homey app diagnostic log too, and send its ID.
4. Include screenshots of EcoFlow’s combined-system view and Homey’s ‘STREAM Verbund’ taken close together.

The warning you shared says that operation stopped before sending any commands. Could you tell me which action, setting or Flow you were using when it appeared? Please don’t retry it just to reproduce the warning.

This update helps collect the evidence; it doesn’t yet fix the combined 0% reading or change how batteries are grouped. Please don’t send passwords, API keys or tokens.

Cheers
JZ

Hi Justin,

I’ve updated to v1.10.25, but I can’t find the new “Copy report” button in the app settings.

I can only see the existing “Diagnosebericht erstellen” button, which was already there before.

Could you please clarify where I should find the new button, or whether I need to do anything else to access it?

Thanks for your help!

Cheers,
Robert

Hi Justin,

thanks for your patience. I’ve now found the Copy report function in v1.10.25 and copied the full JSON report. I’m sending it to you together with the screenshots from the EcoFlow app and Homey.

The report confirms that the individual devices provide live readings, while the combined “STREAM Verbund” still shows 0%.

As explained earlier, when I originally paired the system with Homey, I only had the two older STREAM devices and the inverter. The STREAM 5000 was added later, after EcoFlow firmware updates finally allowed me to combine all devices in the same Space.

The report also shows fresh peer observations from the STREAM 5000, but the system membership is still marked as unverified.

I have left all devices paired and have not changed any settings.

Please let me know if you need any further information or would like me to perform a specific test.

Thanks again for investigating this!

Cheers,
Robert

Hi everyone,

v1.10.28 is now available on the [test channel](https://homey.app/a/uk.co.zarb.ecoflow/test/).

Today’s updates improve the original Smart Meter readings, with direct meter data where available and a fallback to the linked installation. There’s also clearer information in the app settings about where readings come from and how recently they arrived, alongside more diagnostics for investigating combined battery reporting.

The latest build also corrects the store pictures for both STREAM 5000 devices to use the actual AC 5000 photo. The device icons remain wireframes.

You don’t need to delete or re-pair anything. Existing energy totals are preserved. This update does **not** automatically combine different STREAM generations or enable new 5000 controls, and the new Dual CT meter isn’t enabled for pairing yet.

@Robert_Greiner, thank you for sending the report. It confirms the problem you described: the individual batteries have live readings, but the existing combined “STREAM Verbund” still reports 0%. I’m not treating that as resolved.

Could you update to v1.10.28, leave everything paired as it is, and let it run for around five minutes? Then please send:

- A fresh **Show support report** , using **Copy report** in the EcoFlow app settings in Homey.
- A separate Homey app diagnostic/log ID.
- Screenshots of the combined battery and individual units in Homey, plus the same installation in EcoFlow, taken around the same time.

If the earlier control warning appears again during normal use, please include which Flow or action caused it. There’s no need to retry commands just for testing.

@EdNL, thanks for the screenshots and for confirming that “Capaciteit” is the Solis battery percentage, and that your Solis integration has no THEN actions. The roughly five-minute delay is useful to know too: any future coordination needs to account for readings that may be behind.

For now, could you update and send a fresh EcoFlow support report with screenshots of the EcoFlow battery readings in both apps? If you have the original EcoFlow Smart Meter paired, please also check its import/export direction against your usual meter readings. This build doesn’t yet implement the Solis/BYD charging-priority behaviour we’ve been discussing.

Feel free to send reports and screenshots by direct message. Please review reports before sharing them, as they can include information about your installation and energy use.

I’m working towards a full release, but I want to get the reporting right before calling it ready. Ideally, I’d be doing these checks on my own equipment, including mixed-generation and expansion-battery setups. I’m still waiting for my two STREAM 5000 units, two expansion batteries and the new power meter to arrive, so there are things I can investigate through the API but can’t yet verify myself.

If anyone knows someone at EcoFlow UK who could give them a gentle kick to get my equipment shipped, I’d really appreciate it! 🙂 I’d much rather have the kit here and test it properly than keep asking everyone else to do the hands-on work.

Thanks for sticking with it and helping me work through this.

Cheers,
JZ

</div>

Hi @Robert_Greiner,

Thanks again for the screenshots and reports. I’ve been back through them, and I think we’re getting closer to understanding what’s happening.

I suspect EcoFlow moves management of the combined system over to the 5000 series, effectively making it the “brain” when it’s linked with the original STREAM batteries. I’ve heard that mentioned in a few YouTube videos, and your reports seem consistent with it.

That could explain why the existing Home Battery in Homey is still reading from the original STREAM address while EcoFlow shows the combined system correctly. Some readings keep moving, but the battery percentage and power stay at zero.

I’ve published [v1.10.29 to Test](https://homey.app/a/uk.co.zarb.ecoflow/test/) to investigate this. It adds a read-only comparison to the support report; it doesn’t switch the readings or change the energy totals yet. Before making that change, I want to confirm that the 5000 reporter gives us information for the whole installation, rather than just its own battery.

Could you try the following?

1. Update to v1.10.29 and give it a couple of minutes to receive fresh readings. Please keep your existing devices—no deleting or re-pairing this time!
2. In the EcoFlow STREAM app settings in Homey, run **Check current battery reporter (read-only)**. Once it finishes, use **Copy integration support report** and send me the whole text, either pasted into a message or as a `.txt` attachment.
3. Around the same time, capture the combined battery screen in EcoFlow, the linked batteries and their percentages, and the existing Home Battery readings in Homey. Ideally, take these within about 30 seconds of the report.
4. Send a separate Homey diagnostic report for the EcoFlow app and let me have its report ID too. That gives me the app log alongside the integration report.

Please also mention whether it was charging, discharging or idle, and your local capture time/timezone.

One set would be a good start. If you get a chance to repeat it later in a different operating state, that would help too—there’s no need to force charging or change your setup.

If anyone else has a 5000-series battery linked with original STREAM batteries, and would be happy to send the same reports and screenshots, that would be brilliant. It would help me compare a few different setups rather than work from just one installation. Please also mention which models you have and whether any expansion batteries are connected.

Feel free to send everything by DM. Please review reports and screenshots before sharing them, and don’t post API keys, passwords or other private details here. I’m still waiting for my own 5000 equipment, so these examples are helping me work through something I can’t yet reproduce here.

Thanks for bearing with me!

Cheers,
JZ

Hi Justin,

I’ve updated to v1.10.29 and completed the checks. I’ve sent the integration support report and captured the Homey screenshots around the same time.

Homey diagnostic/log ID: 6c564aa3-bcda-468d-8ecd-a4190df7a503

What I observed:

- The existing STREAM Verbund still reports 0% battery status and 0 W battery flow.
- The individual original STREAM batteries show their own battery readings.
- The STREAM AC 5000 reports live grid and load readings, and its system reporter provides a combined SOC and battery power value in the integration report.
- However, the STREAM AC 5000 device tile shows 100% battery status, while the integration report showed 63% system SOC. Its battery status tile also displayed “–” in the same screenshot.
- The screenshots were taken around 21:44–21:45 local time on 10 October 2026. The installation was discharging at the time of the integration report.

The report still shows installationScopeVerified: false and repairAllowed: false, so I understand that the reporter switch is not yet validated.

Please let me know if you need another set of readings in a different operating state.

Thanks for continuing to investigate this!

Hi @Robert_Greiner,

Thanks for sending this through. I’ve reviewed the screenshots, your earlier integration report and the new v1.10.29 app log.

The AC 5000 connection is receiving live data, and the log shows the battery percentage moving from 65% to 63%. There weren’t any connection failures or app errors recorded during that capture.

Taken together, the reports suggest that EcoFlow has moved the combined installation’s reporting over to the AC 5000, while Homey’s existing STREAM Verbund is still reading from the original address. That would explain why it remains at 0% and 0 W, even though other readings continue to arrive.

One thing worth clarifying: the 100% “Batteriezustand” reading in the screenshots is battery health, rather than how full the battery is. The 100% charge limit is also a separate setting. If you’re seeing 100% on the actual battery-percentage screen, could you include that screenshot too?

I’ve found your new Homey diagnostic log, but I can only see the older v1.10.28 integration JSON. Could you please send me a **direct message with the full v1.10.29 integration JSON** , along with the **EcoFlow combined-battery screenshot taken around the same time**? The screen showing System SOC and the individual batteries would be ideal. Please include the capture time and your timezone.

Please don’t delete or re-pair anything—keeping the existing devices helps us investigate and preserve their history.

If the JSON confirms the exact reporter match, and its combined readings agree with EcoFlow, the next step would be a reversible change to where the existing Home Battery gets its readings. The aim is to keep the same Homey device and Flows, without asking you to start again. We’ll need to handle the accumulated energy totals carefully, and switching monitoring won’t automatically mean switching controls.

Thanks again for sticking with this. Your reports are helping narrow down what’s happening.

Cheers,
Justin

Hi Justin,

I’ve now captured a fresh v1.10.29 integration report together with the EcoFlow combined-battery screen.

The EcoFlow app shows a System SOC of 57% and battery discharge of 383 W. The AC 5000 reports 405 W, while both original STREAM batteries show 0 W. Homey’s existing STREAM Verbund still reports 0% and 0 W.

One detail in the new report caught my attention: reporterShadow.status is now resolution\_stale, and the candidate reporter is unavailable. The comparison therefore could not be repeated in this capture.

The capture was taken at approximately 22:45 CEST on 10 October 2026. I’m sending the complete v1.10.29 JSON and the screenshot together.

Could you please check whether the stale reporter resolution explains this and whether another read-only check is needed before changing the existing Home Battery’s reading source?

I have not deleted or re-paired any devices.

Thanks again for your work on this!

Hi @Robert_Greiner,

Thanks—this is useful, and sorry in advance for asking you to do another capture!

The report and EcoFlow screenshot agree on 57% system charge and 58% for the AC 5000. The stale warning relates to the reporter lookup, which was over an hour old—not the live battery readings.

Could you please:

1. Open the EcoFlow app settings in Homey and click **Check current battery reporter (read-only)**.
2. Once it finishes, immediately click **Copy integration support report**.
3. Take an EcoFlow combined-battery screenshot around the same time.
4. Create a separate Homey diagnostic report and send its ID too.

Please send the JSON and screenshot by **DM** , ideally attaching the JSON as a file so the forum doesn’t change its formatting. Include the capture time and timezone.

No need to delete, re-pair or restart anything. If you later notice one of the original batteries supplying power, another capture then would help us check that the combined reading includes it.

Sorry for the back and forth, and thanks again for your patience!

Cheers,
JZ

Hi Justin,

I’ve completed the read-only battery reporter check and captured the integration report and EcoFlow screenshot at approximately 23:40 CEST on 10 October 2026.

The report now shows reporterShadow.status: comparison\_ready. The AC 5000 candidate reports 53% SOC and -291 W battery power, while the existing STREAM Verbund still reports 0% and 0 W. EcoFlow shows a system SOC of 53% and total battery discharge of 301 W.

I’m sending the full integration JSON and the EcoFlow screenshot together.

Homey diagnostic report ID:
9bc72ef9-923b-4b71-8836-b0c49fc3db0d

Please let me know if you need anything else before proceeding with the proposed reversible change to the existing Home Battery’s reading source.

Thanks again for your help and patience!

Cheers,
Robert

Hi all,

I’ve published **v1.10.30 to Test** :

> **[EcoFlow STREAM Series | Homey](https://homey.app/en-us/app/uk.co.zarb.ecoflow/EcoFlow-STREAM-Series/test/)**
>
> Turn balcony sunlight into smarter home energy

@Robert_Greiner, thank you for the latest report and screenshots—and for sticking with all the back and forth!

Your latest capture gives us a much better basis for trying the change. The 5000 system readings closely match EcoFlow’s combined-battery screen, while the existing STREAM Verbund is still showing 0% and 0 W. That supports the idea that the 5000 becomes the reporting “brain” when the generations are linked. We still need to check what happens when the original batteries are contributing power, though.

This build adds an optional **monitoring trial** to the existing STREAM Home Battery. It can use the linked 5000’s reported system percentage, battery power and charging/discharging state while keeping the same Homey device, history and Flow references.

**Please don’t delete or re-pair anything, or add another Home Battery for the same installation.** Keep the existing Home Battery and the paired 5000 Unit monitor.

Nothing switches automatically. To try it:

1. Update to v1.10.30 and allow a couple of minutes for fresh readings.
2. Open the EcoFlow app settings in Homey and run **Check current battery reporter (read-only)**. Download the integration JSON before enabling the trial.
3. If the readiness panel says it’s ready, open your existing STREAM Home Battery’s Advanced Settings and enable **Use linked 5000 battery reporter (monitoring trial)**.
4. Capture the Home Battery readings in Homey, EcoFlow’s combined-battery screen and another integration JSON around the same time—ideally within about 30 seconds.

If it says the trial isn’t ready, please send the report rather than trying to work around it.

There are a few limits worth spelling out. Charged/discharged kWh and daily history still use their original source; I haven’t established that they cover the combined installation. Battery controls are disabled during the trial, and the old installation solar/grid/load readings are cleared rather than mixed with the new battery readings. Flows depending on those readings may therefore stop.

You can turn the trial off without re-pairing. It waits for fresh original readings before restoring that source, although that may bring back the original 0%/0 W issue.

The settings page now has a **Download integration JSON** button. Please send that file by DM, along with the screenshots and a separate Homey diagnostic report ID. Include your capture time/timezone and whether the system was charging, discharging or idle.

If anyone else has both generations linked, the same captures would be really helpful—particularly while an original STREAM battery is supplying power. Please mention your models and any expansion batteries too. There’s no need to force charging or change your EcoFlow setup.

And I’m sorry again that I’m relying on you for so much of this testing. I’m still waiting for my own hardware to arrive, and I really need it here so I can work through the tests myself, repeat them properly and make sure this is genuinely right. I appreciate your patience while I get there.

The next step towards a full release is checking this across normal charging, discharging, daytime solar and restart/reconnect behaviour. I want to get that right before making it the default.

Cheers,
JZ
