Which routines do you mean? Please add more information. You can be notified when a cleaning job is finished, same as the Dreame app does.

Hi, I’ve spent quite a bit of time figuring things out with the Dreame app, Homey, ChatGPT, and Google, and I’ve learned a lot in the process. Fortunately, I now have a much better understanding of how it works.

However, what you’re saying about not supported isn’t correct. This feature **is supported by Dreame** and can be found under the **Dock** button. This is also why there is an **“When” card in Homey** , and it’s even possible to see the remaining drying time. So all the necessary functionality appears to be available.

The only issue is that when I use the **“Start hot air mop drying”** card, the drying process does not actually start.

I would really appreciate it if this could be fixed. If you need any additional information, logs, or testing from my side, I’d be happy to provide it.

I think shortcuts are mentioned? I also came in this same thinking area. Dreame says only when it’s completed task. But you can’t specify what task. Like when vacuum kitchen is finished or mopping living room is finished. But I think as you mentioned already. It’s the way how dreame ends his tasks not knowing which task it’s ended.

Yep, I wanted to know when a specific shortcut is over (a shortcut has a logical meaning for me, while the single tasks that compose a shortcut not).

Moreover, if my clean water is empty or my dirty water is full, what `AND` action should use to check it? (I wanna use AND actions because it is easier for me to check at particular intervals to obtain periodic alerts)

@Pjotr_Grootkop any news on the topic above? Especially about the AND card, I would like to use as AND card all the exposed statuses here (water tank, Dirty water tank, dust bag, detergent status, etc) but many of them are not available.

Hi everyone,

First off, huge thanks to @Pjotr_Grootkop for this fantastic app! It has been an absolute game-changer for integrating my robot vacuum into my smart home automations.

But I am running into a specific issue and could use some advice: **Is there a way to queue multiple rooms sequentially in sweeping-only mode WITHOUT triggering a mop wash?**

I am using this action card, which seems designed for the task.

 ![Captura de pantalla 2026-09-11 191225](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/b/f/bf2cc94ca73a63b03fcdc4e941e0a66ed33aedd5.png)

However, even when setting ‘Cleaning mode’ to ‘Sweeping’, the card still requires a ‘Water Volume’ parameter _(Low, Medium, High)_. As a result, the dock still washes the mop pads before starting, wasting clean water unnecessarily.

Has anyone found a workaround or the right flow logic for this? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi there. I normally use the selfmade shortcut in the dreame app. There you can adjust everything. And then trigger the shortcut from homey.

Good idea, but with the caveat that I can only create up to 7 shortcuts, which doesn’t quite cover what I’m trying to achieve.

Here is the full context of what I’m trying to build:

The goal is an automation that pauses vacuuming or mopping whenever someone arrives home, and then resumes cleaning once the house is empty again.

Tracking which rooms have been completed is already tricky on its own. The triggers **“Room Cleaning started”** and **“Room Cleaning finished”** don’t strictly fire when actual cleaning starts or ends in a specific room; they trigger every time the robot enters or leaves a room—even when it’s just passing through on its way to the next target. To make matters worse, it sometimes reports entering a new room _before_ reporting that it has left the previous one.

Despite that, by combining these status updates with variables to track the current queue, I can reasonably monitor which rooms are done and which are still pending.

The real headache comes when resuming the task. A simple **“Start cleaning”** doesn’t work because it would restart the whole house. Instead, it needs to resume from the first uncleaned room and continue through the remaining ones (e.g., if rooms 1, 2, and 3 are done, it should proceed with 4, 5, and 6).

The approaches I’ve considered:

- **Room-by-room chaining:** Track pending rooms, trigger the first one, detect when it finishes, and then trigger the next. This adds massive complexity to the flows and introduces multiple failure points.

- **A dedicated shortcut for every combination:** e.g., trigger shortcut `[2, 3, 4, 5, 6]` if interrupted after room 1; trigger `[3, 4, 5, 6]` if paused after room 2, etc. With 6 rooms, this requires around 15 shortcuts, well above the 7-shortcut limit. Not feasible.

- **The ideal solution:** Send a single dynamic command like _“Clean rooms 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6”_ and let the robot manage the pathing natively… but that brings me back to the mop-washing issue caused by the mandatory **“Water volume”** parameter on the card.

Hence my original question.

Has anyone found a workaround or alternative way to handle this kind of dynamic room queue in Homey?

Thanks again!

Hi,

I’m using a Dreame X50 Master with Homey and I would like to automate two things that currently do not seem to work properly.

First, I would like to charge the robot mainly using excess solar power.

My idea is to keep **Off-Peak Charging** enabled with a night-time charging window as a fallback. During the day, when Homey detects solar export, I would like Homey to allow the X50 to charge.

At the moment I can send the robot back to the dock, but I cannot find a way to actually control charging.

Would it be possible to add one or both of these Flow actions?

- **Off-Peak Charging: On / Off**

- **Charge Now / Start Charging**

The Dreame protocol appears to expose `OFF_PEAK_CHARGING` as a read/write property, so controlling that setting should technically be possible.

Has anyone already found another workaround to start/stop charging the X50 from Homey?

My intended setup is:

Solar surplus available → charge the X50
No solar surplus → stop/postpone charging
Not sufficiently charged during the day → charge automatically during the configured night-time window.

There is also a second issue with **mop drying**.

Homey already has a **Start Drying** action for my X50 Master, but this action does not actually start the mop drying process.

I would specifically like to delay mop drying until night-time because the dock is located in our living room. The drying process runs for around 2–3 hours and the fan noise is quite annoying during the evening. At the moment I often leave the mops undried because of this.

Ideally I would like to create a Flow like:

Cleaning finished → do not dry yet
Night-time → **Start Drying**

So it would be very useful if the existing **Start Drying** Flow action could be fixed.

I mentioned the drying issue before but did not receive a response, so I wanted to include it here as well.

Thanks!

Hi, I have an issue with trigger- and when-cards in flows and metrics on the device-card.

I have two L10s Ultra Gen2’s. One robot (“Keuken” aka Berging) isn’t reporting its status. It does respond to control commands. I can start/stop actions. But current status when started from the Dreamehome app isn’t reported back. Also no battery status etc.

My other L10s Ultra Gen2 (“Woonkamer”) does send back its progress.

- Restart of the app does not make a difference.
- Repair of the device does not make a difference.
- Removing and pairing the device does fix the issue (for a few days).

Update: this morning I had to reboot my Homey. Now I get status updates from “Keuken” and none from “Woonkamer”.

“Woonkamer” started its program first, so it’s not first-come-first-serve.

Let me know if you need me to send additional logs or do some specific testing.

Hi Pjotr,

our Dreame vacuum named ‘Crispy’ unexpectedly started a cleaning task on 16 Oct 2026 at 05:55:09 Europe/Berlin. I manually stopped it at 05:58:23 after about 2 minutes / 1 m².

There is no scheduled cleanup or Smart scene in the Dreame Home app for this time. I also checked all Homey Flows and HomeyScripts: the only enabled Friday cleaning Flow starts at 08:50, and nothing in Homey is configured to start the vacuum at 05:55. Homey device history shows the start as coming from Dreame. Installed Homey Dreame app version: 1.0.4.

Diagnostic report code: 08c32259-ecbc-4242-b6d4-672e8be68014

Could you please check whether the Homey Dreame app sent a start/clean command around 05:55:09, or whether it only received the already changed state from Dreame Cloud/MQTT? The exact model should be available in the diagnostic report; Homey’s device settings only display the device name ‘Crispy’.

Thank you!

I tried the card “Navigate to waypoint and then stop in place”.
The robot went to the waypont but did not stay there. After some seconds it docked again.
One more thing; it started by cleaning the mop before leaving the dock.

Also tried “Clean rooms” card but are only able to enter one room. Selecting a new room from the dropdown list replaces currently selected room.

I have a X60 Ultra.

We have two flow cards for cleaning with settings: Clean rooms… and Clean room IDs…

But for the simple cleaning without setting we only have the Clean rooms card.

Would it be possible to add here also the Clean room IDs?

Hi Pjotr,

Have you had a chance to look at my earlier report about the StartDrying flow card not working on my X50 Master, and my request to control charging through Homey?

Could you let me know whether these can be supported, and if you need any additional information or testing from me?

Thanks!
