This worked indeed. Thanks 😀 !

Okay, just made an update in the Test:

Some improvements to the translations.
Also a condition(And) flowcard for lists.

Is there a way to determine / have the Device Capabilities app provide a tag with the prior value of a capability, before it changed?

For boolean values, the prior value is clear (opposite of the new value), however for numeric and text values this is different. Ofcourse I could create variables and update them with the prior value, but that requires a lot of variables and many flowcards to update individual capabilities.

I want to prevent that a picker list, button or other control (like a temperature control) in an AVD is changed when the physical devices is not switched on. So when e.g. a picker is changed, I want to revert that change and set it to the prior value.

Ill have a look, but i think this would be possible yes.
Can you write it as a PM to me?
(Bitbucket removed the issues functionality and i havent set up an alternative yet.)

I just installed this app onto my Homey SHS and I’m trying to get a better understanding of how it’s going to help.

I had a network outage while I was sleeping last night. When I woke up, my “camera off” flows ran and I have the time stamps in the timeline proving so. However, I noticed that my Eufy cameras were still fully on. Did some digging and found that because of the network outage, Homey lost connection with Eufy and I had to log back into my Eufy account in order for everything to talk to each other again.

I installed this app to alert me when my cameras go offline, like during a network/power outage so I’d like some feedback to see if I set up the flows correctly:

Yes, that looks correct.
Can you test the flow? F.i. pull the power of one camera and see of the flow is correctly triggered when homey gets the camera as unavailable from eufy?

Because of changes in the community forum, the loading of templates (AVD and Flows) didn’t give the correct Likes anymore.
I have resolved this, and while doing so, made a huge speed improvement for loading the Templates.

Its in test now, waiting for approval.

Dear Arie,
Great to see the custom list! I was waiting for this one!

When implementing I would like to set the list based on the value of a variable like “if var==(x) then set list to list-item(x)”.
I can’t find any other solution than coding out all the options in the flow. Is there something like an identifier by which I can set the list easier?

Thanks

Not yet, but it is comming: Reflection (and React) will be available soon ™ for (custom) lists.

Unfortunately I don’t do it correctly, I find no option ti set the list to a text stored in a variable:

Ah, well a couple of things:

- Reflection in the AVD settings allowed direct setting of the list value through BLL variables. Homey variables cannot be used like that, because they cannot be watched for changes.

Which flowcard are you now using to set that value?
Either one of these i assume?

Correct Arie, I used “Zet Veld naar Expression”
Do I have to use the other and use a BLL variable ? I’ll try that!

> [@Frans\_Vos](#):

Well, if you do that, you dont need to setup flows anymore.
Its all handled within the AVD setting.

However, if you use the (BLL) expression card, its a Javascript expression, this when you place a tag in it with the value `Uit` it is considerd a Javascript command, which doesnt exist.

So, another solution would be to put qoutes around your tag like this `"[tag]"`. Then it would also work.

Also, another “issue” is that, all my _set [[field]] to [[value]]_ cards allow for tags to be used, except the _set list to value_ card (because it’s an autocomplete/dropdown field).

So right now i am create another flowcard to set lists which allowed for tags (or text) to be used to set it.
So waiting for that update in a few minutes would also be an option if you wanna continue using the Homey Variables. 😉

I am actually strongly thinking about deprecating this card (meaning it would keep working if its already in use in flowcards, but you could not select this flowcard from the lists of flowcards anymore).
It does about the same as the BLL Expressions, but BLL is way stronger and maintained.
Before i integrated the BLL app, the DC app had its own expressions and functions in the app settings. But its way less optimised in comparison with the BLL functions/Expressions.

For now i have removed the highlight attribute, meaning this “old” flowcard will be shown at the bottom of the flowcard-list.

Yes, you are still using the flowcard 😉
Either place quotes around the tag like `"[tag]"`.

But this is not what i ment:
Goto the AVD settings/repair, and set the Reflection to BLL and pick the correct variable:

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/2/8/2841f7cbf35714011f0caa473a6f6aab5b0acb88.png)

</div>

@Frans_Vos
I just pushed a new version, but its in test and needs to goto review.
In this version i have changed the _Set List to Value_ to _Set List to Pick value_.
Also i have added a new flowcard:

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/d/f/df2ed5bba7d4c969f12adcd2b5be2ebaf067f9b5.png)

**Set List to Text.**
You can write text in that field or use a tag/token/(homey)variable.

Hi Arie
Thank you for a great app! This is the app I appreciate the most in Homey, for sure!

If you ever have time over, could you have a look into be able to set these values on the energy attribute (or if it’s already possible, please let me know)?
