If you followed the FAQ it should work.
Check whether you have any device isolation features enabled in your WIFI Access Point, which might prevent zeroConf communication. Essentially Homey must be able to discover the WLED device using mDNS queries. If those are blocked for any reason it is impossible to detect them.

Hello, I would like to start my 8x8 matrix with a json file.
If I start the json manually it looks like this:

 ![IMG_20240620_175909_resized_20240620_060023709](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/7/0/70b0251ce5680b60741d9d33fbb7fe8de3e12d20.jpeg)

After a reboot unfortunately it looks like this:

 ![IMG_20240620_175828_resized_20240620_060023468](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/b/b/bb2745b7ce1213f6c072656650fd4c0b212dd61f.jpeg)

The background image (json) is unfortunately no longer loaded.

Can I save the json on the ESP and have it run when it starts??

What can I do?

Vielen Dank 😉

If ya using WLED maybe you can ask on the WLED project if anyone has a suggestion on this. I cannot do support for their firmware. Otherwise… hmmm… I dunno. But if you find anything or anyone here knows how this can possibly be achieved I would be interested to know too ^^

Hi, I have a problem with WLED. Through the browser and ip address works. However, when adding in homey it finds WLED, but after adding it doesn’t respond to change in homey. Additionally, after a while I get a message that the device is not available.

@jc82517 , @Hubert_B ,
Hi,
What means after a while? Are we talking minutes, hours, or days?
Do you guys use fixed IP address assignment for your WLEDs?
Did you check your WiFi coverage?
Do you have other home automation things controlling them as well aside of Homey?

Hi. It was fine until a few days. Don’t changed anything. Well, I now push the devices from HA to Homey, so I am good now. 😉

well, yeah, you most likely had more than one system control WLED using the realtime protocol at the same time then, because wled only supports a single connection for that.

I ran a complete regression test on the WLED part of the app including connection recovery features for some hours on the new Homey Pro.
Everything is working just fine. If you have connectivity issues it must be something caused by your setup. Either bad wifi coverage or a competing system trying to steal the connection to your WLED.

Don’t you have to make a preset in wled where that segment is turned off? At least that’s how I do it, one preset for every “light mood” I’d like, which you then can control with flows…

Hello @Shakesbeard

Thanks for a very nice app. Wled and Homey have made my apartment look alot better!

Is it possible that you could add a “then” card for turning on/off sync on wled lights?

Not sure. Would need to dig deeper into it again.
Are you talking about the udpn sync feature?
