I can also make use of variables but i was thinking, the app will not be public although Homey, so why not make it in my app for personal use.. I know hahahah…

Ah clear.

And thank you very much for your very swift help! Really appreciated 😀.
I am going to ‘play’ a little bit further with the app and the other options included.

Some questions:

 ![IMG_2883](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/1/9/19f9168934046b05b4f55123e18241d726f0d257.jpeg)

- The Icon item: is that supposed to let you insert an icon in the widget? I am not sure how to use that item ☺. I get the above configuration screen, but I don’t seems to be able to add/select an icon. I thought that maybe I have to select a device, so that the app selects the icon of the device or capability, but the visibility settings reset to ‘none’ when I try to select a device.
- In addition to the previous point: the Advanced/Visibility Conditions section is available in all dashboard items, but it resets itself to none and then collapses when trying to select a device in e.g an Icon, Badge or Status item. Does that mean this section is not relevant for those items?

It might be an idea to add some documentation that describes each configuration item.

I would love getting some inspiration with screenshots from your dashboards - any chance some of us can post these here?

Hi Julian,
Firstly, really enjoying Custom Dash. I’ve just built a Door Sensors card for my wall-mounted Homey dashboard and it’s working very well.
I have two small feature requests for the Boolean State block:
Could we have configurable TRUE and FALSE colours? For a door sensor I’d like OPEN = red and CLOSED = green, rather than the current automatic styling.
Could we have control over the Label text size and colour?
At the moment I can change the TRUE/FALSE text (OPEN/CLOSED), but I can’t find controls for their colours or for styling the device label.
These options would make Boolean State much more flexible for door/window, alarm, leak and other sensor dashboards.
Thanks for developing Custom Dash — it’s a great addition to Homey.

Custom Dash v1.2.2: A toggle linked to the virtual device “Ringklocka - indikering”, capability onoff, fails with:

device.setCapabilityValue is not a function

The device works through Homey Devices and Flows. The same toggle works when linked to another virtual device, “Brevlåda – Indikering”.

Restarting Custom Dash temporarily fixed the issue. It returned when using the Samsung tablet and now also occurs on the iPad. Status display still works, and a Custom Dash button triggering a Flow can reset the device successfully.
