Bedankt voor het antwoord. Ik was inderdaad vergeten de Homey firmware bij te werken. Dit was namelijk nog versie 12 en zijn nu al bij 13+ ---

I have two Growatt invertors connected to Homey (currently with the old Solarpanels app from Diederik Bakker), and I want to make a business case for a homebattery. So now I need a years worth of data. It has been a while since I was on the Shineserverpage, but it seems I cannot even get data older than 3 months. I tried to have AI write a pythonscript against the (a) Growatt API, but it fails to login. Is there any way to get this data, maybe from Homey? I know Homey insights-data is diluted the further you zoom out, so I don’t think this is the way to go. So my question is not so much about **this** app (although I now installed it and will switch from the old app to this one), but I’m sure there are people here that know about what data is available from Growatt. (Maybe I should have done something to log the data to a database, but I haven’t sadly) ---

@RM_de_Gruijter I’m currently working on a review of the new Growatt AURA 5000 and have also added it to Homey to see what’s already possible. First of all: great work on the app. The AURA 5000 was added without any problems and I can already read quite a lot of useful battery data in Homey. At the moment, though, it seems to be read-only. I can use the available data in Flows, but there are currently no **THEN** actions available to actually control the battery. Is control of the AURA 5000 something you’re planning to add in a future version of the app? It would be really useful to have options such as: - Start/stop charging - Start/stop discharging - Set charging/discharging power - Change operating mode - Set a target SOC That would make the Homey integration much more powerful for automations. Again, great work so far (especially considering how new this battery is). I’ll definitely be testing the Homey integration as part of my review as well. ---

The official API of Growatt has proven to be non-cooperative on giving commands to batteries. I have spent really a whole lot of time on it, but was unsuccessful. It involves complex checks and flows with hidden parameters according to the api documentation. But even with Growatt’s direct support on the topic I never was able to get it working. If any new documentation or information pops up I am willing to give it another go. Good luck with your review! ---

@RM_de_Gruijter Hi Robin fyi, Since your update to version 2.3.3 my growatt inverter frequently is offline. (device not available) When I open the device it tells me **"HTTP request Failed. … "** Before months without a problem. Since version 2.3.3 approx. 15 minutes. Restarting the app helps the device become available until the next failure. (5-30 minutes) please let me know if you need more information. Ruud ---

Trying to get solardata from now on backed up on my NAS. Also switched from the old Zonnepanelen app to the Growatt app but now I have this issue: Daily energie is reset on strange times daily, on inverter seems to reset @ 12:35-ish, the other one @ 6:35-ish ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/d/6/d6a2a2fba67f7b243a8b418f62575247b88cacc0.png) Coincidence that they are exactly 6 hours apart? How can I get them to reset the daily energy to 0 at mignight? edit: the old app didn’t have this issue. Do I need to adjust the clock in the invertors? I checked the Homey app code. The app does no local day-boundary logic; it just relays what Growatt’s API returns. A 6-hour gap between your two inverters’ reset times strongly suggests their dataloggers have different timezone (or UTC vs. local) settings configured. So I think you need to ask your installer to fix the time / timezone. And/or ask Growatt if the cloud server is configured correctly for timezone. ---

@RuuduitdeG @Crash69 Should be fixed in the next release. Root cause however seems to be an instability on the Growatt server side. I only made the Homey app more tolerant for transient server issues, but if server side is failing very often for very long, the issue will become visible in Homey again. ---
