Try restarting the DoorBird and try again. If that does not solve it contact the DoorBird company. This sometimes happens where the API does not return the LAN IP

@Phuturist
In your app update you say :

## v3.0.8 - 2021-07-08

- Switched to manual discovery strategy as Homey firmware 7.x marks devices as offline when mDNS is not working on the users network and the device has been paired manually.

**Switched to manual discovery. Does this not mean we can set our own ip here?**
This is what i need to bypass that wrong lan ip..

Yes, that might work as well. No guarantees though as this really is an issue that should be solved.

To be able to manual pair a DoorBird no devices should be discovered so make sure it’s offline when running discovery and it’s online again when you manually pair it.

@Phuturist
Thank you manual pairing worked perfectly.
Now i will try to solve the next step as i am not getting notifications on homey.
Maybe it s my user that does not have permissions…

Hello Doorbird developer,

Two great tools would be useful to me:

- Provide homey with the value typed into the doorbird keyboard : that would help triggering different of actions into the house depending on Who is entering (assuming one code defined per user).

- Allow homey to send a pre-recorded or a prédéfinie Google tts voice message to the doorbird speaker.

Thanking you in advance and wishing you great evening.

Kind regards

Martial Morey

Please submit these feature requests directly to DoorBird. Both features are not possible with the current DoorBird API. Nothing I can do about it.

It’s already implemented, there is an action card to switch it on.

In your flow editor you can create “if … then” logic. Cards you put in the then column are called action cards as they perform actions. There is an action card to turn on the IR light.

We are encountering this randomly as well. Restarting doorbird does not help. Sometime will miraculously work after countless tries or reboot or even creating a new user?!?!

Is there a specific API call that you use to return the LAN IP from the API during login? We will also contact doorbird on that.

The IP address is taken from the mDNS discovery message which the DoorBird broadcasts within the local network.

Hello
Sorry for my English (I’m French)
First of all thank you for that great and useful app.

I have just buy a Doorbird D2101V and I have detect a bug.
My flow is:
When: The door is Open
Then: Send a Push Notification with text “Door is Open”

When I open the door from the doorBird App, nothing append but when a motion is detected I received the “Door is Open” push notification.

It’s seems there is a little bug in these great app 🙂

Doesnt sound like a bug but a misconfiguration of the http calls in the DoorBird administration area. My app has added 3 http calls to the configuration to allow the DoorBird to inform Homey on events. Usually it also schedules the triggering of the http calls on these events but in some cases this can not be set automatically. For instance if a user has already previously configured the http calls.

Go into the DoorBird administation through the official app and make sure to schedule the right http call for every event (doorbell, motion and relay).

I’ve bought the IO controller for improved security but I cannot get it to work with Homey. It only shows 1 relay in the Homey app, I think this is the default built in my doorbell.

Is there a way to get this to work. It would be great if I could open the front gate though Homey.

It’s (currently) not supported. Can you post me the output of [http://yourdoorbirdip/bha-api/info.cgi](http://yourdoorbirdip/bha-api/info.cgi).

I dont have a IO controller to test with myself.

And another thing. Did you pair the DoorBird before or after the IO Controller was connected?
