this works for me, only in my case it find the address (in the Netherlands) but all my flow cart doesnt work if it has to do with locations. ---

Looks like I am just unlucky then, I wonder if its as timing issue with the API or if the BMW service just sucks down here. (the iphone BMW app is also super flakey) ---

Love that app! All basic data is being displayed properly and I can do fun stuff like blowing the horn and flashing the lights and it correctly tells me if the vehicle is locked etc… When it however comes to the really interesting (garage) automation stuff like checking if the car is within the geofence, it does not seem to work: The app says its outside the fence althought it is clearly in my garage 😉 which is also shown in the “My BMW” app. Is the geofence feature currently working? In which format do i have to put the coordinates in? - I currently did that in decimal degrees north and east. Do you expect any other format? ---

I dont have that problem with the bmw own app. Only all the geo flow cart from this app dont seem to work. Dont know why. I saw @Likhan became a dad so i thought i ask it later😁 maybe he can help us know with the problems. ---

Can please someone help me on this one. Can’t get to login. Just error and aborted and no devices etc. Just can’t get in. It was a crime to setup the bmw app. But this one is even worse. I hope there is still some people here that got it done that can get me in the right direction Greetings ---

Hi, spoke too soon. Severs now up for a couple of days and no luck. I changed BMW’s and deleted the former one from the device list. Then tried to add the new BMW, and got the no new devices message. I then removed the app, rebooted and added the app back, starting from scratch. Added credentials and location and login was successful. Went to the devices page and tried to add new BMW device. Again got message that no new device found. Did a few times with same results. 2025 BMW iX 50 in North America (New York, USA). Greatly appreciate any help. Thanks, Hugh ---

Must be something from bmw. Can’t login there either. Gives error now for some days. “Due to a system error, your request cannot be processed at this time. Please try again later.” Can’t get it fixed. ---

bmw servers are up again i think. can login on my bmw account onine now. bmw connected app working perfect. on homey bmw app i can login from the app settings. BUT when adding device it gives me 'NO NEW DEVICES" so deinstalled app rebooted homey reinstalled app succesfull ogin in the log using trace. but no new devices. help… ---

Over here , the BMW Connected app is working just fine. Attention: this is a service from BMW , only automatically activated for the first (i believe) two years. After two years, you will have to pay for the service. ---

Since a while back, I can no longer remote control features such as climate or lock and unlock the car from the BMW homey app. I have reinstalled the BMW app and can add the car and I get all the statistics from the car. From the original BMW app, everything works as it should. Does anyone more have these issues? ---

Tried again with deinstalling and reinstalling the app etc etc nothing seems to work. Also looked into the bmw side to check account setting in car data settings. But also there nothing. Not even a hint that the homey bmw app tries to connect to bmw server. The log in the homey bmw app stays on initializing. That also doesn’t look correct in my way. Just hope that someone or even the developer can Fix this on a short term or even just let know there still alive🤓. Even a notification like I’m busy maybe in a month or 2 I’ll be able to check things should be nice. Greet’s marco. ---

Is this app working for anyone on the “rest of the world” servers? I can login (it say logged in, in the logs), but no cars found. Tried in my HA installation to add their integration with the same username and password, and that can find the car, so its something with this app. Im new to the Homey ecosystem, but as I see the code is available on GitHub, I assume I can run it myself, and look at the proper logs, as this is an error with parsing the response from BMW or incorrect handling of the API. Though I would like to know if this is an issue that is actually an issue for other than me. ---
