# \[APP\]\[PRO\] Backup Center — Homey Configuration Backup & Selective Restore

Can’t find anything that is saved and / or stored in the userdata folder.

That’s true, you can’t see those in the app. It’s something a Homey app can use internally, those aren’t visible to users

I opened the folder and there is nothing in it, when i run the backup app

@smarthomesven from what i can see it generates a file to download to disk or netshare using blob in nodejs.  
But best is to ask the developer of the app @Dennis_Weel Or brows the source

Backup Center 0.4.7.

SMB backup to Synology works.

Backup file is created correctly.

JSON file is valid (`format: homey-backup-center`, version 5).

Homey API Key works.

After clicking “Choose Backup File” and selecting the JSON file, nothing happens.

Section 6 still shows “Open a backup file first”.

Section 7 Find individual Flows also returns no results.

Tested in:

- Homey App
- Microsoft Edge
- Google Chrome
- macOS

Same result everywhere.

Additional test:

Same behavior on Windows 10 with Microsoft Edge.

Backup file can be selected successfully but Backup Center still displays:

“Open a backup file first”

and “Find individual flows” returns no results.
