Hi Nicolas,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. It has been about a week since your last message.

I have now installed version **1.4.10** and tested it with my **Alféa Extensa Duo A.I. 5 R32**.

Unfortunately, the heat pump still cannot be added/controlled correctly in Homey.

I have just generated a **new diagnostic report with version 1.4.10** :

**Diagnostic report ID:** `93e08613-a730-41d2-8948-948ad20c7842`

As requested, I also checked **Settings → Apps → Atlantic Cozytouch → Test Connection → Device details**.

Here is the complete Device Details information:

```auto
Cozytouch (Magellan) — 1 device(s) — app 1.4.10
Alfea Extensa Duo A.I. 5 R32 | modelId 212 | productId 2 | type UNKNOWN
```

The device is still detected as:

**modelId 212 | productId 2 | type UNKNOWN**

However, quite a lot of information is being retrieved from the heat pump, including temperatures, settings and schedules.

Hopefully the new diagnostic report and these Device Details will help identify what is still missing for the **Alféa Extensa Duo / Pass APC** support.

Please let me know if you need me to perform any additional tests or provide any other information. I am happy to test things on my heat pump.

Thanks again for your help and for continuing to work on this!

@Thilo , @Anthony_Cherpeau , @Herve_Domotique I well received your diag report. Working on it this week. I keep you in touch.

I’ve noticed that with the recent updates, it seems harder to connect to Cozytouch Magellan or Overkiz.

Do not hesitate to check if you are well connected. Sometimes I need to check on test and wait to see Online (without clicking on save credentials) I also investigate on this but if you are facing disconnected devices.

BR

Nicolas.

Hi @Anthony_Cherpeau , thanks for the log; that was enough to find it, and it’s a bug in my app rather than a problem with your heat pump or your account.

**What’s going on.** The app’s connection to Atlantic expires after about eight hours. Once you have devices added, the app notices and reconnects on its own. But on a Homey where nothing has been added yet, there’s nothing running to notice — so the connection quietly goes stale, and when you then try to add a device the app asks Atlantic for your device list using a login that’s no longer valid, gets refused, and reports that as “no devices found”. Your account is fine: your log shows 13 devices on it.

That’s also why Test Connection kept telling you everything was OK. It logs in from scratch every time, so it always succeeds. It was never exercising the same connection that adding a device uses. Sorry, that must have been confusing.

**To get past it right now:** restart the app (in the Homey app: More → Apps → Atlantic Cozytouch → Restart), then add your device within the next hour or two. That gives it a fresh connection.

It’s properly fixed in the next version, 1.4.11; the app now reconnects and retries when this happens, and when it genuinely can’t reach Atlantic it says so instead of blaming your devices.

**One separate thing, though.** Even with a fresh connection, your Extensa Duo won’t add on the Cozytouch side yet. Your account presents it as a single device the app has no profile for; other Extensa installations present the same appliance split into zones, tank and heating circuits, which the app does handle. What yours reports isn’t enough for me to add support safely; I’d end up giving you a temperature slider that silently does nothing, which is worse than no device at all.

Your account also has 12 devices on the other protocol the app speaks (Overkiz), and that’s the more likely place to get this heat pump working. Which is where you can help: **once 1.4.11 is out, run Test Connection again and paste the “Device details” report here.** Until now that report only detailed the Cozytouch devices 1.4.11 adds the Overkiz ones, which is exactly what I’m missing. Have a quick look over it before posting, as it contains your device names.

Hi @Thilo,

**What the next version (1.4.11) changes for you:**

The two devices showing nothing on any tile aren’t towel dryers. They’re the two heating circuits that feed your zones; the app was misreading them, and worse, it was actively suggesting you add them. They’re no longer offered. **They won’t vanish on their own, though: please delete those two devices by hand.** Everything they were supposed to show, you already have on the zone devices themselves.

Your heating zones lose their fan-speed and louvre pickers. Those were never real; a water-based heating zone has no fan and no vents, and touching either one just returned an error. Same story for the holiday/away switch on your hot water tank: that tank has no away switch, only a start/stop schedule, so the toggle could only ever fail.

And the flood of `Poll failed` lines in your log was harmless; that was just the app renewing its connection to Atlantic three times a day, logged as if it were a fault. It now logs one calm line instead.

**Two things I could use your help with** , both about the hot water tank:

1. **The temperature slider range.** Your tank reports two different limits depending on which value I read: 47–60 °C in one place, 50–65 °C in another. Homey currently uses 50–65, and I’d rather not guess. In the official Cozytouch app, what’s the lowest and highest hot-water temperature it actually lets you set?

2. **The mode list.** Your tank reports a hot-water mode the app has no name for, which is why the mode tile occasionally showed something you weren’t actually in. It also reports that it supports fewer modes than Homey is currently offering. Which hot-water modes does the Cozytouch app give you for that tank : Manual, Eco+, Program, Auto, something else?

A screenshot of the hot water screen in the Cozytouch app would answer both at once. No rush, and thanks again — a log this complete is rarer than you’d think.

This is exactly the trouble that I’m talking about.
Should be fix on **1.4.11**!

Hi Nicolas,

in the Cozytouch app it ist not possible to set a real temperature, it just shows what should be (55) and as a graphic where it is actually

There are two modes: Eco and Comfort, I can set the away- mode as well so it will just prevent freezing

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/e/0/e07b16956d1fee767dd62638585bafdc3e97cadb.jpeg)

I m actually not at home, but as far as I remember on the heatpump itself you can regulate temp by degree from no freeze up to 69 ( note sure)

A+ Thilo

Hi Nicolas,

I’ve now installed version 1.4.11 and ran Test Connection again.

Great news: the app now detects the different parts of my heat pump through Overkiz.

I now have:

- **Plancher** — the heating zone, with the indoor temperature, heating on/off control and target temperature.

- **HP\_Actuator** — the outdoor temperature sensor.

- **DHW / Water Heating System** — the hot water component is also detected by Overkiz.

So it looks like we are very close!

For the DHW component, the Device Details show:

- `PassAPCDHWConfigurationState=cumulated`

- `PassAPCDHWModeState=peakAndOffPeakScheduling`

- `PassAPCDHWProfileState=eco`

- `ComfortTargetDHWTemperatureState=52`

- `EcoTargetDHWTemperatureState=40`

- `TargetDHWTemperatureState=40`

- `DHWDerogationAvailabilityState=available`

- `BoostOnOffState=off`

- `DHWOnOffState=on`

However, in Homey I currently don’t have access to the DHW temperature, its current target temperature, or the controls/settings for the hot water.

Here is the Device Details report from version 1.4.11:

I have replaced the local Wi-Fi name, local IP address and serial number above for privacy, but all other technical information is unchanged.

The Overkiz part looks much more promising now, especially because the DHW component is explicitly identified as:

**`AtlanticPassAPCDHWComponent` → `WaterHeatingSystem` → `type WATER_HEATER`**

So if possible, I would be very interested in having the DHW temperature, target temperature, and the available DHW controls exposed in Homey as well.

Thanks again — the progress in 1.4.11 is already very good!

Thanks for testing so quickly.
The hot water tank is already supported, but it’s added from a different tile than the heat pump: try **Add device → Water Heater** , and look for “IO (5592202#2)”. If you already did, tell me what the tile shows and what happens when you change the target or the mode.

Two honest caveats. Overkiz doesn’t publish a tank temperature for this unit, so that tile will stay empty for now. And the mode picker was built for other tanks and fits yours badly; I’m reworking it around what it really has (on/off and boost).

One question that would help: does the hot water screen in the Cozytouch app show a tank temperature, and is it close to 49–50 °C? In your report, value 111 sits at 49.9 and I suspect that’s it.

Hi Nicolas,

I tested the hot water tank on my Atlantic Alféa Extensa Duo A.I. 5 R32.
Here are my results:
• Target temperature: displayed and can be changed successfully from Homey.
• Measured tank temperature: not displayed; only the target temperature is available.
• Operating mode (Off / Auto): I can select Auto, but whenever I reopen the mode selector, it automatically switches back to Off. I have to select Auto every time. I don’t yet know whether this is only a display issue or whether the tank actually receives an Off command.
• Boost: activating Boost from Homey does not work.

Could you investigate the Off/Auto state issue and the Boost command for this specific heat pump?

Thank you very much for your help and for the time you’re putting into improving the app.

I really appreciate your support and the work you’re doing to make it compatible with my heat pump.

Keep up the great work!
Thanks again!

Hi @anthony_cherpeau,

Thank you for testing the tank. Your report was clear.

**What I think is happening**

- **Auto going back to Off, and Boost:** after you set something, the app checks the tank’s state a few seconds later. The Cozytouch cloud still reports the old state at that point, so the app put the old value back on screen. That would explain both symptoms, but I can’t be sure yet. Your test was probably fine, and the tank may well have received the commands.
- **Tank temperature:** this is expected. The tank doesn’t publish a temperature, so the app has nothing to display. The target temperature is the only value it gives.

**What I changed**
In version 1.5.2, what you set stays on screen for up to two minutes, until the tank confirms it. The app also writes in its log if the tank never takes a command. That log line is how we’ll find out whether the commands work at all.

**Version 1.5.2 will be available shortly.**

**What would help me**

1. **Check the Cozytouch app** after you set Auto or Boost from Homey. Does it show the same thing? This tells us whether the tank received the command, and it’s the most useful single piece of information.
2. **Test Connection report:** open Settings → Apps → Atlantic Cozytouch → Test Connection, then copy the section for the hot water tank (the one mentioning `AtlanticPassAPCDHWComponent`). It lists what the tank reports and which commands it accepts. It contains device names and identifiers, so have a look before posting it publicly.
3. **A new test on 1.5.2:** set Auto (and, separately, Boost), wait about three minutes, then send me the diagnostic report as you did before. If Auto stays on screen, that’s already a good sign.

If you added the tank to Homey a long time ago (before version 1.4.13), the app may not know which commands your tank accepts. I’ll tell you from the log whether it helps to remove the tank and add it again. Please don’t do that before then, as you’d have to re-select it in any Flows.

One reminder: when you test Off, set it back to Auto afterwards, since Off stops the hot water production.

Thanks again for your patience and for the time you’re putting into this.

Nicolas

Hi Nicolas,

Here is a complete update following my tests with version 1.5.4.

### 1. Boost function

The Boost function now works correctly. Both activation and deactivation from Homey are almost instantaneous.

### 2. DHW operating mode (Off / Auto)

Switching the hot water production between Off and Auto also works correctly. Both commands are almost instantaneous from Homey.

It looks like both issues have now been resolved. Great work!

### 3. Actual hot water tank temperature

I would still really appreciate being able to retrieve and display the actual DHW tank temperature, rather than only the target temperature.

I noticed that the Magellan report contains the following value:

`111=50.921875`

Could you confirm whether this value corresponds to the actual tank temperature?

### 4. Energy consumption monitoring

I would also like to request access to the heat pump’s electricity consumption data in Homey.

My heat pump already provides separate consumption counters for:

- Domestic hot water (DHW)

- Heating

- Total electricity consumption

The latest diagnostic report (version 1.5.4) contains the following values:

- Total electricity consumption: `100000`

- DHW electricity consumption: `75000`

- Heating electricity consumption: `26000`

These values are exposed through the following Overkiz components:

- `io:TotalElectricalEnergyConsumptionSensor`

- `io:DHWRelatedElectricalEnergyConsumptionSensor`

- `io:HeatingRelatedElectricalEnergyConsumptionSensor`

Would it be possible to expose these counters in Homey, ideally with daily, monthly and yearly consumption figures in kWh, separately for DHW and heating?

This would be particularly useful for monitoring the actual energy consumption of my heating and hot water production.

### 5. Technical information from the latest diagnostic report

For reference, here are the relevant details, with personal network information and device identifiers removed:

**Heat pump**

- Model: Atlantic Alféa Extensa Duo A.I. 5 R32

- Model ID: `212`

- Product ID: `2`

- Product model reference: `R002430700`

- Protocol: Atlantic Pass APC

- Number of heating zones: `1`

- DHW availability: `available`

- Error code: `0`

**Hot water tank – AtlanticPassAPCDHWComponent**

- Status: `available`

- Configuration: `cumulated`

- Mode: `peakAndOffPeakScheduling`

- Profile: `eco`

- Target temperature: `41 °C`

- Comfort target temperature: `53 °C`

- Eco target temperature: `41 °C`

- Boost state: `off`

- DHW state: `on`

- DHW derogation availability: `available`

**Available DHW commands reported by Overkiz:**

- `setDHWOnOffState`

- `setPassAPCDHWMode`

- `setBoostOnOffState`

- `setTargetDHWTemperature`

- `setComfortTargetDHWTemperature`

- `setEcoTargetDHWTemperature`

**Energy consumption sensors:**

- Total: `100000`

- DHW: `75000`

- Heating: `26000`

I hope these additional details will help you investigate the possibilities for improving the integration.

Thank you once again for your time, your responsiveness and all the work you are putting into this application. I really appreciate your help and your commitment to making it work properly with my Atlantic heat pump.

Keep up the excellent work!

Best regards

Hi @adrien_seither ,

Which one ?

I suggest you to add to your Homey, the experimental version and share logs regarding your devices.

Br

Nicolas.
