# **App Store Connect for Homey**

Bring your App Store Connect data to Homey and use it directly in devices, Advanced Flow, Insights and dashboard widgets. Downloads, updates, proceeds, App Review status, live and upcoming versions, TestFlight builds, ratings and customer reviews of all your iOS, iPadOS, macOS and tvOS apps, read straight from Apple’s official App Store Connect API by your own Homey.

### Setting up

1. In **[App Store Connect](https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/access/integrations/api)** go to **Users and Access → Integrations → App Store Connect API → Team Keys** and tap **+**. Give the key a name (for example _Homey_) and the role **Admin** (or App Manager + Sales).
2. Copy the **Issuer ID** (shown above the list of keys) and the **Key ID**.
3. Tap **Download API Key**. Apple allows this only once, so keep the `.p8` file safe.
4. Install **[App Store Connect](https://homey.app/en-nl/app/nl.lrvdlinden.appstoreconnect/App-Store-Connect/test/)** on your Homey and go to **Apps → App Store Connect → Configure**.
5. Tap **Add account** , enter the Issuer ID and Key ID, paste the full contents of the `.p8` file and add your **vendor number** (App Store Connect → **Business** , the 8-digit number next to your address).
6. Tap **Test & save**. Your apps are found within seconds.
7. Go to **Add Device → App Store Connect** and add your apps and the **All apps** device.
8. Optional: add the widgets to your dashboard and set how often the status is checked (default every 15 minutes).

Apple publishes the download figures of yesterday once a day, so new figures appear in Homey the next morning. App Review status, builds and reviews are checked continuously.

Your `.p8` key gives access to your App Store Connect account. **Never share it with anyone.** If you think it has leaked, revoke the key in App Store Connect and add a new one.

> **Tip:** The settings page ( **Apps → App Store Connect → Configure** ) contains a step-by-step guide and shows whether each account is working. You can use the same API key in DevTools.
