On September 24th the [official Anker SOLIX app](https://homey.app/en-nl/app/com.anker.solix/Anker-SOLIX/) was released ([see announcement](https://homey.app/en-nl/news/anker-solix-app-for-homey/)).
In this community topic we keep track and discuss anything related to the app, hopefully providing a clear overview for Anker representatives on customer feedback, etc.
**Supported Products**
The supported products are the Solarbank Max AC, Solarbank Max, Solarbank 4 Pro, and the X1 home battery system. Additionally, the system supports the Anker SOLIX Smart Meter and the Smart Plug to smartly monitor and manage your energy consumption.

I have been testing a `beta` version of the app since the beginning of September on a Homey Pro 2023, with a Solarbank 4 Pro + 1 extra battery and with a Smart Energy Meter Gen 2. So far so good. The app runs smoothly, and glitches mostly are caused by the wifi’s lack of stability over that the app or modbus tcp implementation would not be stable.
There is one issue though: every time when opening the device page in Homey, and possibly when either the Anker SOLIX app, or the Homey Pro gets restarted, the control mode of the Solarbank also gets changed “back” to “Homey-controlled” mode unintentionally.
As result of that I now had several days of full battery and the solar panels not delivering back over the grid.

Am I right as I say that the app isn’t working with the sb 3 pro? In the Anker app (phone app) I can’t find the settings for external controls…

Yes that’s correct, only the recent models. But that’s not really clear on the Homey app page if you’d ask me, so maybe Anker can improve the description and the device detection for that.

Is the Anker P1 meter also available as a device?
