i would like to help you add and test the freebox delta material. Can you tell me how to provide the unique identifier?
@Jamie: to be honest, I am a little bit lost. I Offered help and donations as well to support the echo dot with display. I sent images and debug Codes but I donāt get a feedback what exactly else I have to do to get this standard device supported.
Can somebody give me an idea why this absolut standard device which is 99,9% the same as the echo dot 3rd gen only with a stupid display showing clock or timer is not getting supported?
Thanks a lot
I really would like support for this device too, i have the same one.
It is indeed exactly the same as a normal Alexa Dot gen 3 with a extra clock, so it should only need to have itās id added with the same capabilities as the normal Alexa Dot gen 3
how does that find the unique identifier?
Hey @Ablanc i donāt actually know what a freebox is, but please check the faq.on how to have a new device added.
@dieter2005 thanks for sending through the Echo Studio resources ill try and get itto the test channel ASAP for testing.
@Flapaz90 please read the faq, iāve updated with an answer to this.I would guess you are connected to the wrong server.
@widameista honestly Iām a bit lost too ⦠I have made it as absolutely as clear as I can. I even took the time to write whole new faq just to help you. Multiple other people have supplied the requirements and new devices have been added. I received what I need to add the studio this week. As a general piece of advice I would suggest that there are better ways to ask for a favor then ignoring whats been clearly stated as required and then taking your frustration out at the person who you want to do the work for you.
@Erik_de_Vries I have already received unique id for the gen3 with clock, but for future reference restart the app, connect to alexa and then send me a diagnostic report along with the ānameā of the device. Ill hunt down the unique id from that.
that is:
but how is the unique identifier?
Hi @Jamie are you planning to include the echo show 8 ?
thank you @Jamie with EU-India server it work very well, thanks
edit: Iāve a question more ( I think I donāt know how to do it) itās possible send a little audio saved on homey with soundboard (for example) to an Alexa device?
when I open my Bat-cave Alexa ehm Bat-Alexa say welcome! and Bat-homey start the song theme of Batman begins, but if Alexa could speak and play the song would be great, thanks
can you add this device?
iām ready to run all the tests
Device : freebox delta player

tell me how to help you
thank you
check the FAQs
Hi @azid all of the Echo Show 8 requirements have already been posted in this thread, I also sent Jamie a diagnostics report
Just for future notice, ill happily add any official amazon device (which works). If I get everything I need and am able to do so.
Split coffee on my laptop last week, so I am awaiting for the apple stores to reopen in order to get it repaired, so very awkward to work on my hobbie until that happens.
No its not possible to play anything other then the sounds which iāve already made available.
However, in your flow you could start amazon music playing the ābatman theme by neil hefti and his orchestraā though I prefer āthe batman theme by danny elfmanā
Thanks Jamie, much appreciated
Hey @Jamie, again after about 8 days of running fine TTS has gone silent, see 443e9aef-4958-4fd6-a6b7-bdce895efec3
To fix it last time a restart didnāt fix it and I had to started Homey, this time I restarted the app twice and after the second restart it worked again. Report is from before the restart. Hope it helps. Oh and there were no updates during this timeframe so that theory is out the window too.
Have a great day!

After reconnecting to the Amazon account, it works again.
Hello,
the application finds only the echo dot (gen3) and not my alexa products attached to this one
and the routines are not displayed
And you have read the FAQ on the common reason why routines donāt show and what you need to do for them to show?
