# \[APP\]\[Pro\] Alexa - Control your Amazon devices from Homey

Hi @Mark_Sharples

What do you mean with “the other Alexa app”?  
Do you mean the “Amazon Echo” app ([Amazon Echo | Homey](https://homey.app/de-de/app/dev.schweiger.echo/Amazon-Echo/))?  
My “Amazon Echo” app lost connection yesterday and I was not able to reconnect it ever since (see [[APP][Pro] Amazon Echo - Looking for testers and contributors - #142 by 4x4\_Pete](https://community.homey.app/t/app-pro-amazon-echo-looking-for-testers-and-contributors/120365/142) ).

This might suggest, that the issue is more a “global Amazon issue”.
