# \[APP\]\[Pro\] Alexa - Control your Amazon devices from Homey

Hey everyone,

Yes still here, last update was only a couple of weeks ago - but I’ve been on holidays. Still going to release the test app at some point.

The other Alexa app - uses exactly the same library as I use to connect to the Alexa servers. [GitHub - Apollon77/alexa-cookie: Library to generate a cookie including a csrf for alexa remote](https://github.com/Apollon77/alexa-cookie)

So it will have the exact same connection issues that some people experience, but I hope I’m wrong … if the other app is able to keep a connection indefinitely please let me know.
