Good evening, May I ask you to help me with my question. Today I tried to add an Echo Dot (5th gen.) to Homey as a new device. I have version 5.4.5 installed. According to some users, the Echo Dot 5 generation was supported in the test version 5.4.5. Is it currently possible to add the Echo Dot Gen 5 to a Homey Pro 2023? Thanks Sebastian ---

@Sebastian_Kn@_Bredero I’m currently developing an app which is only focusing on Echo devices (instead of all Alexa devices) which should support any current and future Echo as long as Amazon does not change their API. I am having issues with connecting Echo Show 5 (newest), Echo Spot, and Echo Dot (newest). I can get the Echo to connect and the old school Echo Dot (pucks). I’ve disconnected the app and removed it and re-installed it with no luck. ---

There has been a version of the app in “ test” for over a year which allows any device to be used. The plan is to release that to everyone before Christmas. But with a newborn timelines are fuzzy. ---

Hi Is anyone having issue authenticating to Amazon at the moment? EU & India - I keep getting the Amazon Doggie picture and try again later but been like it for a few days now? Was rock stable for months orior to this. Cheers ---

Just create a timer in the chronograph app to restart your flow that checks if there is still {{status}} and trigger the say alexa command again if it does. It is how I do the smoke alarm in my house. ---
