Hi there! I installed yesterday the app (Homey Pro Early 2019 - Version 13.2.2), but I can’t link my Ajax installation. Email and password are correct and I use the official Ajax mobile app, but when I try to setup the Homey App I get the following error. Hi, this sounds like most likely a getaddrinfo/IPv6 quirk on the **Homey Pro Early 2019** (the older hardware), or maybe the homeys dns config. Unfortunately Ajax motion detectors are security sensors, not general occupancy sensors. The Homey app can only show motion when Ajax reports a motion event. Normally Ajax reports motion from these detectors when the system/group is armed, or when the detector is configured as **Always active** in Ajax. If **Always active** is enabled, the detector acts as a 24/7 alarm zone, so motion can trigger the Ajax alarm even when the system is disarmed. Door contacts are different: Ajax exposes their open/closed state regardless of arm state, so those can be used more reliably for Homey automations while disarmed. ---

My neighbour is making the decision for purchasing the product within some days. I will let him know that there will/might be options with the homey to operate the device. Downside is that there is no flow control. Ajax relies on leak sensor detections. Will let you know if the purchase is a go. Phil. ---

I’d set it up as something like; **Alarm triggered** → start loop **Loop iterates** → toggle/flash light group **Alarm restored OR Hub disarmed** → kill loop → turn lights off But for these scenarios it’s best to physically try it out. ---

Could you do the following: A ) Go to the actual Ajax Security App on your phone or other device and see if the camera’s privacy is setup correctly : space setting → privacy → users → select the user you use for homey → photos and videos permissions → select the camera(s) you want and toggle watch camera livestream. ![IMG_1717](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/0/7/07201c7902fe2e44d3d597b563574cb84b8a3b53.png) B ) Install [https://tools.developer.homey.app/apps/app/com.ajax.security/build/191](https://homey.app/nl-nl/app/com.ajax.security/Ajax-Beveiligingssysteem/test/) and try removing and adding the camera again to see if it works. C ) if all of those steps fail in any way, could you: 1 ) remove the camera from homey 2) add it again 3) click on diagnostic report so it gets send to me 4) report back to me that you made a diagnostic report.
