It should work. I created an Advanced Flow to notify me about all events that the lock sent. I want to create different flow depending on if it is Tag or Fingerprint. But did not know the Logic values to use. So after my Lock is sending an event I just send the Id, Source and Reason as Notifications. Nevermind the Everyone since I am the only one for now on the house homey 😃

It for some reasons stoped sending the events for Unlock. But I took out one battery and waited a few seconds and then put it back in. After that it has worked with the events.

Just wanted to share my experience with the Nimly app and products, in case potential buyers are checking in here before their buy..

Based on what I read before buying, I did not foresee any challenges getting the Nimly Code Pro up and running in my home environment, but how wrong I was…

Have based on the feedback here tried to reach the “support” related to the product, but the replies and follow up from those are close to non-exicting. Waiting close to a week for each individual reply have left me without connectivity for the Nimly for a month now, and will most likely return the product to the sales place, as not doing what the descriptions promises.

The product seemingly pair and connect, but none of the functions in the app works, just resulting in an error message. As per the app, it also looks like the door is unlocked at all times, which is a bit concerning when it has been like that for the good portion of a month now…

Had hopes for Nimly, but looks like I have to switch to a hopefully better supported product by Yale or others… If not anyone in the community here already have any last minute good tips? 🙂

The error message I get in the Homey app is: “Missing capability Listener: locked”

Throughout the almost 1 month long correspondence with support (1 reply per app 7 days), the only valuable input have been to try and re-pair the door lock to Homey. Have as such both removed the device, de-assembled the inside section in order to press the repair button, and sucsefully repaired the device. During the “adding device” part of the process, one of the smart electric sockets in the hallway turned off by itself (not sure if related to this pairing session, but describing in case it does), and showing up as a new device in Homey app, but not working…

Functions on the outside of the door seems to work as it should, fingerprint, codes and keyfob.

It sounds like a compatibility problem with those smart electric sockets. Perhaps they are not forwarding what they think are illegal messages to Homey? Or perhaps the Nimly firmware _is_ sending broken messages?
One test you could do, is disconnect all of that brand (which brand?) of smart sockets from your mesh, and try Nimly again.

Any chance that there will be support for the self hosted version of Homey? I’m getting rid of everything zigbee/zwave…

I did not read the fine print.

Looked like you were spot on for this, contrary to the “support” Nimly provided… 🙂 Many thanks, getting away from the hazzle with cancelling the purchase, disassemble and buying new etc!

The sockets where the Aqara type with power consumption metering. Have put them all back in now, and looks like the Nimly is still able to communicate with Homey with these plugged in again.

Should I have any concerns or take any precautions for the future, or would it be possible to assume that it all works properly now? Are they potentially just bypassing communication through the sockets now, and can I then expect that they suddenly could try to go through these sockets again in the future if e.g the Homely is being moved?

Thanks again nogren!

Happy to help Lars!

I think that Nimly currently is routing through some other devices, but that the network could be re-meshed into a bad path again.

Keep en eye out, in the Homey developer page for your homey, how each device is connected.

If connected via Aqara sockets, well then you might not have a problem later. But if not, I would expect more trouble to come. 🙂
