There are devices that dont respond the same to the commands their specs specify. That is the problem I confirmed the API declares it supports the method, but when sending the command to it according teh specs (like we do for so many other devices) this device does not respond the way it should.
Maybe we can get in contact with the person their that is the product owner of the cloud api? Its a bit of a stale/hit miss product at this point.

Hi,
is anyone successfully using a Govee H5075 with the Beta BLE implementation on the Homey Bridge?
My setup:
- Govee H5075
- HW 1.03.02
- FW 1.04.11
- Homey Bridge
- App-Ver: 2.17.19
Pairing works without any problems and the initial temperature and humidity values are correct.
However, after pairing, the values don’t seem to update anymore. In my latest test, the first values appeared immediately, but there has been no update for more than two hours.
I’ve also had previous attempts where the sensor eventually showed incorrect/random values and a connection warning.
Before digging deeper into this, I’d be interested to know if anyone else is using an H5075 with the BLE beta driver, especially on a Homey Bridge.
Does it update reliably for you, or are you seeing similar behavior?

BLE is a very limited range system.
And how often the thermometer broadcast it’s state is limited, so if it broadcasts once every 10 minutes, and the Homey is on the edge of is range it might miss it altogether. My driver doesn’t connect to the ble devices it listens to their broadcasts.
But you can use the BLE test page to test the connection.

Hi Kaoh,
the BLE thermometer is about 5cm away from the Homey Bridge.
After about 3 hours, the temperature was set to -17.8°C and the connectivity warning went on.
Where is the BLE test page so i can have a look?

You go in Homey to my app through the settings, where you also found the diagnostic report. There is also a configure button, press it.
It opens a page with multiple tabs: The default one is where people can set their cloud api, but there should also be a BLE scanner tab/button, sleect it.
There you can scan voor BLE broadcasts, see if yoru device is there, repeat every x time to see how often it is responding.

Sadly in the app settings there is only the doiagnostics report and the uninstall buttons.
Maybe it is beause i only have the Homey Bridge and not a Pro?

That could be, I was not aware that this impacted the advanced button.
Also interesting use case that I can not validate using the BLE of the bridge with this app…

Yes, the H1310 is the full size ceiling fan. The only control that Homey has is for the light portion of the device, there are no controls for fan speed or direction.

can you control the ambient light and main light separate?
but yea it would be nice if they add the fan as well at least On, Off.

It treats both light sections as one, so no individual control unless you use flow cards for scenes/DIY. You have to use the native Govee app for that. I’ve found this to be true for much of the devices I own. I suspect that giving the Homey app the same level of control would take away from the main app & Govee doesn’t want to drive users away from that revenue stream. That said, we should still be allowed some basic controls for our flows.
One example is that when I leave, my other ceiling fans are set to mid-high speed & when I return they go to lower speeds based on my flows. I’d like to integrate the Govee device to that control.

no individual light control is not cool. I haven used flow cards for DIY/ scenes from another App not sure how much tinkering is required.
what about the fan on/off DIY scene would that also work or only for lights?
at least the floor fan is supported so hopefully not much more time for the ceiling fan.
I also saw a similar ceiling fan from Dreo, but I like the Govee design more because of the ambient lights of the fan would be useful for a waking up flow.

There are no DIY/Scene controls within the Govee app.
As for a wake up flow, what I’d do is create a scene within the Govee app for the specific colors and/or color temp, then when creating the flow select the DIY scene you made in the app.
Funny anecdote about the floor fan is that I couldn’t add it to Homey until I added it as a Matter device.

im confused you mentioned the DIY/Scene on the prior reply. When I asked about the individual lights.
As you now mention no DIY/Scene within the Govee App.
So the ambient light could be turned On creating a scene inside Govee App then go to Homey Govee app and the DIY/Scene show up as a card?
That weird that the floor fan would not work as is supported.

You can select the DIY scene from the activate DIY scene card.
The Govee API is a work in progress and they dont give it high priority it seems. So they seem to add a capability once a x months, all devices that support that capability then can be controlled with the API that way, but if they did not implement the capability in the API non of the devices that uses that support it.
So I try to keep an eye out for changes and update the app to match.
So yes, DIY can really config the light in the way you want it to be in certain states, save them as DIY’s and call them from Homey to match your needs. Its clean and takes little commands. The Govee api also has high throttle limits, so one call versus many for each segment would overload that quickly also.
So I can only support what the API exposes, we have to wait for the API to mature another step forward. It does get updates once in a while.

understand, thanks for all the work. the App On, Off works extremely fast im surprised.
I dont see the [DIY scene] card only the [Dreamview scene] card maybe because I dont have the cloud api enable.
That good to know that the DIY should be pretty configurable and works.

Correct, you need the cloud key and enable enrichments on the debts for that to work
